Please explain the following few things. My history of Nepal is a lil blury in this matter........
You can just say true or false, or explain.Thank you....
Mahendra sacked the contitutional monarchy back to absolute Monarchy , right?
What were the immediate reaction of the Nepali public ( any rioting or demonstrations?) , and the Nepali press -- how did they react?
What happened to all the party based politicians that were banned? Did they get a few days to leave the ocuntry? Or were they all jailed immediately?
Who did he choose to be his ministers in the panchayat system? Were they party based politicians that were loyal to him? Or were they just people that he picked from his "close circle" ?
Any more info would help, maybe a link to a unbiased website as well.
