Expect Rajeshor Devkota as the new PM of Nepal. Maila Dai is doing a great job.
Wonder if any Gorkhalis' have to say anything about him.

i think he has the clean image.But hare he doesn't have personality to be PM.ANyway whoever becomes new PM,i hope he won't be like deuba or girija

Permendra, do you have any reason that he can't be Prime Minister ?
I know he was hard liner pancha. He was always loyal to his party and king. He or his party never been supported by other country.
There are some parties supported by other countries.
Such as: Sadvabana ......maoist party...... Who doesen's care about the country but their Party... too sad......for Nepal ama.
No offence for those party those I mentaioned above but I have been reading in newspaper this kinda stuff.........

Rajeshor Devkota is some short dude with lot of Patriotism. There are not much people who rally behind him because he hardly does personal favors. I think he is the right choice this time around.
He was shown on the Headline news (NTV) yesterday in the main news before the "bahudalbadis". And there is a lot of talk about him being the new boss (well sort of Maila Dai is the Ultimate boss from now on).
It seems like Lokendra was the first choice, but he put several clauses before maila dai, and thus Rajeshori Devkota name popped up. It is rumoured that Maila Dai even contemplated on the idea of putting Marich Man Singh on the seat.
What have we come down to? Democracy is on the brink of falling apart.

I hope you are joking, Indun Poet. Inspite of his relatively untainted reputation, Mr Devkota is too much of a polarizing figure and I feel the country will be further divided and polarized with the appointment of Mr Devkota especially given the constitutional crisis that the country is in. He has publicly said that he can't stand the Congress, calls for the return of the Panchayat and the supression of democratic and ethnic aspirations. Given the ground realities of Nepal where the state is engaged in a civil war with people who feel they have been wronged, I think his appointment will only worsen the messy situation that has been created by King Gyanendra's dismissal of Deuba.
