*****INSPIRED BY A "RUSTY" MORNING****** WARNING: DON'T READ, if you have too much fire or you have proven your stance of intelligence! ********************* No wonder politics is a dirty game....and the intellectuals here in this forum prove time and again.............how TYPICAL POLITICIANS THEY are with their typical negative stereotypical reactions...frittering away from their computers (mostly from abroad) and show their intimate concerns for Nepal....GOD dAMN IT...........can't u give peace a chance.can't you once be optimistic.........DO u have to give negative impression bout everyone/everything that happens? ISn't this sajha, arent humor, stories, jokes part of REAL LIFE TOO??? ...yet another starts a thread regarding HOW CONCERNED WE HAVE TO BE ABOUT NEPAL or how WORTHLESS THE OTHER THREADS ARE FOR THEY DON"T HAVE THAT CONCERN???? I ASK THOSE INTELLECTUALS, WHAT HAVE THEY DONE??? DiSCUSS IN ENDLESS THREADS WITH POINTLESS VISIONS? EVEN IF THEY ARE RIGHT BOUT VISIONS, WHATS THE RUBBISH TITTERING BOUT IN IT HERE? HOW MANY NEPALIS KNOW THE MEANING OF "INFO. SUPERHIGHWAY"? EVOKE NATIONALISM AMONG THE PRAWASIS, but YET REMAIN AS PRAWASI YORSELF?? IF you are so god damn concerned, why don't you go to villages and maowadi influenced area yorself and become pm, mantris, netas, doctors instead of ridiculing ......GOD DAMN IT NEPAL NEEDS INTELLECTUAL CAPABLE PERSONNELLS NOT INTELLECTUAL CHATTERBOXES! can't ppl change/ can't the king change? does everything need to be related to propaganda, backstage conspiracy, and corruption ...........the ppl who live in "glass houses should not throw stones !! OH NO! Perhaps you are very well read and bred...but what has that got to do with REALITY! what are models and books, opinion of jus another negative creep ready to brainwash the mass!! OH COMMON NOW GIMME A BREAK!! NOONE LOVES ONESELF MORE THAN THE COUNTRy..i am sure if u really loved your country, you wouldn't be blaming things on BIDhi, BIDAMBANA, and yet remain an outsider and go through those myriad guilt trips of not losing yor identity of a nepali while living abroad through songs, festivals and parties.."k garne? paisa ta kamaunai paryo hoina?" "MAYBE I CAN HELP NEpAL FROM HERE MORE THAN BY LIVING IN NEPAL"..of course you can! u can also send aid to nepal like europe, aussie and us does in a weekly basis. and see the DEVELOPMENT OF OUR MOTHERLAND final note: YAH! I AM ALSO ONE OF THE NEGATIVE CREEPS BUT I BEG TO DIFFER! for my own problems far outweigh the problems of Nepal..and i choose to differ FROM THOSE WHO HAVE AN INSURMOUNTABLE AMOUNT OF NATIONALISM AND THE PLEDGE OF HELPING NEpAL LIVING ABROAD with THEIR WORDS OF WISDOM! ok..this is getting confusing to me as well, for my BLOOD IS elevating. So for the intellectuals! go on providing the people who should rule the country, the ones who should be executedBUT yAH REMAIN THOUSAND OF MILES FROM THE EPICENTRE YOURSELF:) ... or resort to your INTELLECTUAL SILENCE :) or there's another option! ITS DASHAIN.....happy dashain to all the intellectuals and the freaks like me:) NO PUN INTENDED! making another pointless stereotypical thread for the stereotypes :) OYS

Oysjyu, you have a good point. And at times I think in the same way. Tara (but), when I think with a cool mind, then I realize two things: 1) I feel most of these Gaff Saff is really fulfilling the 'void' all of us have for not being able to do anything for our home and homeland. It kind of satisfies all of us 'virtually' (fantasy land). 2) These Gaaf Saff are not that bad either, because there are many people who are doing lots of practical work for Nepal and Nepalese community after getting inspired by different threads in here. That includes me. So these Gaff Saff are not going down the drain after all. So, really instead of getting as mad it might be good idea to take it lightly and enjoy these political satirical and other writings. At times I even feel, those politicians should read Sajha, and I am pretty sure they would get lot of ideas. - iti Vijaya Dasain Ko Up Lakshma Logical and Sensible Subhakamana.

Oys bro! Dashain ko upalacchyama hardiek subhakamana. For your frantic comment on so called sajha intellectuals, I can not agree more than saya percent. Perhaps..even more than you can imagine :-). "Gimme a break, no one can ever loves the country more than oneself". What a valid point ..hahaha..proabably a sharp bancharo for those who love themselves choosing their ministers from here everytime the cabinet changes. "Paisa ta kamawunai paryo...........", tyai bhayera I can not go back to my country eventhough I can not express how much I would love to go. Just for this sole reason, I am 100% successful on creating a big hatred towards these nasty politics. Politics itself isn't that bad to practice but I really.......(Oh man ! how can I express?) do hate these prawasieeeees including myself (if I ever dare to discuss cabinets with one good size masu ko chawuto in my mouth) talking about politics. "Go to these maoist affected area and whin about politics"........Ke..gaurney, huney bhaye ma tapai lai puraskaar nai dinthey mero mun ko kura bhandiyeko ma............. People!!! get a life! It is nuisance talking about politics unless you really wanna go back and serve your country. You do no have to feel guilty for settling where you feel you can comfortably live in. Nothing wrong with that, you are simply showing one of so many normal behaviors of human kind. ABA...GYAN....ley KE GARLA TA? yahee haina dashain ko jamghut ko guph......? Oys-ji, Contrary to what you have said here, I, for one -- a long-time Internet poster -- find all this guff-suff on sajha to be a very HEALTHY thing. My experience is that sajha.com should be viewed and treated -- NOT as main course of a meal per se but -- as deliciously chewable Vitamin tablets that SUPPLEMENT one's regular diet of information and knowledge (gleaned from books, conversations, solitary writing, research and thinking). [Note: I use the pronoun "we" NOT a royal sense, but in a generic sense.] Through these heated and cool guff-suff about politics, Nepal, life in general and so on and on, a) We get exposed to ideas that are different from ours. b) We get challenged to defend our views and thoughts, and even modify/change ur views in light of better evidence/arguments. c) We get happy when people praise us, and unhappy when we are unfairly attacked, and that only makes us more more human. d) We learn to distinguish between criticisms of ideas that add to our learning and criticisms of persons that end in, well, stupid clashes, and learn to push for the former while avoiding the latter. e) We learn to manage our emotions better and with more wisdom. f) We learn to appreciate the best among us in various fields of endeavors from computer science to writing to fashion designs to running a business and so on. g) We learn to sympathize with those among us going through rough patches. i) We learn to share information and knowledge and even contacts to help one another to solve their pressing problems. j) We learn to make new, older, younger and different friends all the time. k) Despite occasional fare-ups about this and that, we learn to forgive and forget, and eventually come to appreciate the best that others have to offer, even when we may not personally like that person or, for that matter, his/her ideas. j) We begin to function like a community that's built -- slowly but surely - around trust and a healthy respect for one another. k) Some among us will translate some of our collective ideas to practice to hep Nepal and Nepali communities oin our wn small, small way. [I know I have already done tons of things in Nepal, and so have others -- either in Nepal or abroad -- in their own various ways.] l) I dare say -- in my own optimistic manner -- that sajha folks, as they stand now collectively, hold tremendous POTENTIAL to do a lot of interesting, exciting things for/in/about/fom Nepal in years ahead. m) We learn to inspire others to reach higher and be inspired y others to do better tomorrow than yesterday. n) Finaly, we learn to have fun with one another, be passionate about issues we care about (whether that be politics, stuff related to ethnicity, books, movies, songs or even, well, that Catherine Zeta-Jone look-alike Nepali thiti in France . . . .!) . . . and, you know, we learn to enjoy life as it is, with its ups and downs and all that. Viewed this way, life on sajha.com does not seem all that bad, does it? As they say, "it's all a matter of perspective." A very Happy Dassain to you and to all. oohi ashu ktm, nepal

I did not even read the first post... so sorry if I butted in! But the gist of your post seems to be that anepalikt should change her name to "aimai".... I will not!! at least not to that "aimai" crap that is being suggested! And "bhaladami"... well, whatever. Bhaladami saladami:) Sheeeeeet! what is with you boys? What is it? Aimai aimai. What is aimai going to do? It must be y'all attempt to neutralize the god knows what connotation the term "keti" seems to have for nepali boys. Yes, BOYS! Ugh!! I will hold on the bloody "kt" in my name till I die! which might very well be tomorrow by the way, now that we got a sniper roving the streets! SO THERE!!! Hoina, yo daju-bhai ko aatmiyata kina yasto gahiro ho??? I too had been thinking along the same lines the past week--sajha ma chichyayera mattrai ke hune ho ra?
