Are nepali maoist learning from International Terrorist Group???? ---------------------- First letter bombs explode in capital Damage was minimal when Maoists for the first time set off two letter bombs in the capital Sunday prompting the Home Ministry to issue an immediate alert asking Kathmandu residents to be cautious while accepting and opening letters and packets. Retired Army Chief Gen. Sachit SJB Rana was not injured when a letter bomb delivered by suspected rebels exploded at his home in Jorpati on the eight day of Ashtami, police said. Jagat Gauchan, a prominent leader of the RPP and a sportsman of national stature, was slightly injured while opening a letter at his residence, police said. The Home Ministry issued an immediate do and don't alert. The Ministry has asked people to watch out for wires and metals in letters and packets. The Ministry said persons have been lately visiting homes delivering suspicious letters and packets that should not be touched or opened. The Ministry asked residents to call security officials and report their delivery. Letters and packets of abnormal weight with suspicious addresses should not be touched or opened, the Ministry said.
