Here's an inspiring quote from Raplh Waldo Emerson, the philosopher, who used to walk around Harvard Square some 100-plus years ago.

This quote is by Harry Merson Fosdick, not
by Ralph Waldo Emerson.And this is very
famous quote also.

Harry Emerson Fosdic?
Who is he?
Never heard of him.
I thought Emerson always meant THE Emerson, i.e. Ralph Waldo Emerson. BTW, in Harvard's Philosophy Department is housed in a building
called Emerson Hall (named after RW) in the Yard.
