Why? Oh Why do they need to destroy the few infrastructure we have ? Maoists destroy school run by Baburam’s teacher Maoists have continued their attacks on schools across the country by bombing the school in Kailali run by the high school teacher of their leader, Baburam Bhattarai. In the attack on Wednesday night, they entered the school grounds, threatened the guards, ransacked the offices and blew up the main building after wiring it up with explosives, school sources told Nepalnews. The non-profit school was run by J Varughese, an Indian pedagogue who in the 1960’s taught at the Luitel School in Gorkha where Baburam Bhattarai was his student. Varughese was out of the country when the attack happened and the 200 students were on holiday. Sources in Kailali said the school had received several extortion threats in the recent past and was the only non-government school still open in the far-western district. The school catered to under-privileged children from neglected sections of society. nepalnews.com Oct 17

Biruwa, they are destroying the infrastructures so that they can push our country back to the stone age. I wonder what these Maoists are thinking about their own future. After destroying schools, transportation and communication facilities, and electricity etc in their own villages, what are they going to do? Build a mansion in Kathmandu? Go to India?

These insane lot...what next? An orphanage? A shelter for the elderly? Ali ali sambedana ta pashu ko pani hunchha… Mr. Varughese and his wife, Christian missionaries originally from the southern Indian state of Kerala, have been serving Nepal's education sector for over 40 years. His famous days as an extremely decent instructor were spent at the Amarjyoti Madhyamik Bidhyalaya (Luintel School) in western Gorkha. That's the school from where Baburam Bhattarai the Maoist, and the current neurosurgeon health minister Upendra Devkota, completed their high school. The reputation of that public school has long been legendary. The Varughese couple had left Gorkha to open a similar school in Kailali some years ago. I hope whoever is running our country now, he/they make a sincere attempt to check this sort of anti-social onslaught against civilian infrastructure before these Pol Pot fanatics even begin to take us back to Year Zero. Durbar ra Jungle dubbai ka pratigami haru baata sajag rahaun.

According to the above news, history of recent violence in Nepal, and a reliable private source with whom I have communicated about this incident, Maoists are the obvious suspect. I'm told that the irony of it all is that Mr. Varughese is being publicly felicitated by the alumni of Luintel School on 16 November in Kathmandu for his "great contributions to Nepal" in an event to be chaired by Upendra Devkota. It is also known that the destroyed school buildings in Kailali were literally built by Mr Varughese and others through partial proceeds from selling mustard, lentils, and mangoes from the school land. While it is unclear if Baburam knew personally that his students attacked his own teacher's estate, he must shoulder moral responsibility for his teachings on violence against civilians and civilian targets. "Pratigami" is a beautiful Sanskrit word that means one who heads for a "ulto baato", or opts for a "reverse path" -- a path that takes you back, binds freedom, and where fear and terror reign.

It shows Baburam does not have control over his Nepali PolPotty kids. Baburam told that Badal is not controling the rebel arms gang, and this bombing is a sign that they are not supporter of Baburam preaching Maoism. It seems to be a discouragement to Baburam within Maoist bhadbhailo. Maoists will continue to crumble. The current mess has made them out of main focus of Nepali politics. That is one advantage or disadvantage, but, it has big impact on Maoist's plan to kill some one to remain in news. Since Amale is not in power, RPP (surya ) is not in power, Neka is not in power, so, now Baburam's teacher is in power because he teaches moral, ethics, and society, that is surely against Maoist highway to PolPotty Communism, therefore, Maoists have to shatter V. Thomas to disappoint Baburam's supporters within middle class Nepali society "afno teacher ko school ma ta bomb padkauchha tyo Baburame le", aruko ghar ke baki rakhla. Nepal survived last 3 years, where Maoists could climb the ladder to powerhouse. But, in this SNAKE and LADDER GAME, it is still difficult to decide who will reach to goal "100", but, it looks Maoists were caught by the longest snake "pythagon" that swallows when you are at 96 and ejects out around bottom most row. Well, in this game "SNAKE and LADDER", now AMALE and NC have to move ahead without caring Maoists much to get the best ladder that lifts you from 69 to 95, remember there is again the longest snake at 96 and you should get 2, not 1 to get rid of this longest snake and move to 97. Deoba was also swallowed by the same long snake and ejected out of the ring. Now he will need to give up the game, better become a sanyashi. The game is getting better.
