Obviously if she comitted suicide then the editor will not be charged with first hand murder, but I am sure that there are other degrees or murder in Nepali law? Second hand / third hand murder? Legally this man doesnt face much as of yet, and personally I do not have enough information to go by to judge the case fully. however, I can say for sure, that this so called jounalist has no morals or respect as a person. one scenario may be that she posed for those pictures with her own consent, the editor then got his slimy hands on those pictures, and without her consent, went on to publish them. That is totally wrong and he has much to pay for that! If he comitted extortion, emotionally or in other manners, then that makes this case even worse. And by any chance if he actually forced her to pose in those pictures, then that is sexual, emotional, physical and all other evil abuse possible. Man should get life sentence for that! There is a possibility that the pictures were not even authentic, no one has the negatives, what is the damn police doing? Can you imagine if this was a case of digital alteration? One may think , if they werent real then why did she kill herself? For one, as a Nepali woman, I have to say that blackmail is pretty common in the nepali community, many weddings have been stopped due to rumours, altered pictures. Money has been extorted by many during the wedding time period of Nepali girls, and on a larger note, this occurs throughout entire South Asia, maybe even elsewhere. there may by truth in these day to day black mails , there maybe partial truth, or even no truth, but to save face, many become victims of these extortions! Shrisha may have been a victim of a hoax, and eventually killed herself to save face. her death does not prove the validity of Shrestha's article that ended her life. Even if Karki was a prostitute, I highly doubt she happily entered that profession. Nepali Chori, your justification of 'kina nango photo khichako , after that kina regret gareko?", is a pretty skewed point of view. You can say that about the poeple who catch HIV in Nepal, kina sex gareko, kina sex worker baneko, kina chori becheko? I mean come on, think for a second. This is not a by choice profession, maybe for some it is, but you cannot call a person "laaz nabhaeko" b/c he/ she is a sex worker. This man has comitted a terrible immoral, indescent and inhumane act and he needs to be brought to justice! If ghosts are for real, I hope Karki will "tarsao" this &*()*%$$$ forever!
