Is that Dawa Dai from Allston who left us ? If it is, my condolence to DawaDai's family at this difficult time. He has contributed in many ways to our Nepali community. It was a great pleasure knowing you, and your presence will be missed. Koko

There's also a very nice Gompa on a hill near Woodstock, NY. May Dawa's soul rest in peace!

Thank you for your suggestion. We were fortunate enough to have many of Dawa's family members and relatives here in the US and Canada, who came to Boston for the funeral services last week. The family arranged a proper Buddhist funeral service and is conducting further services with lamas in New York at the moment. At some point, we will probably go to the Buddhist monastary in Woodstock, New York. If anyone is interested in going to the monastary and lighting "batti" in Dawa's name, please do contact me at bik555@hotmail.com or call me at 617-529-6240. Bik.
