After reading this news..I feel the best solution for the country is the death of the Bastard Girija and other Bastards....He was in power for 10 years and his grand design have taken our country to such a great height.... Koirala accuses Palace of “Grand Design” KOL Report KATHMANDU, Oct 26 – Former Prime Minister and Nepali Congress President Girija Prasad Koirala on Friday has said that the Royal Palace had instigated a “grand design” against the restoration of democracy since 1990 and that the Royal Massacre was also part of it. He has also claimed that the Palace resorted to the “unconstitutional move” three weeks earlier as part of the “grand design”. Speaking at an interaction programme organised by the Nepal Trade Union Congress (NTUC), Koirala, however, also set at rest the debate over constituent assembly as far as his party was concerned - which amounts to vetoing the demands raised by powerful central working committee members of the party like Narahari Acharya and Chakra Prasad Bastola, among others. “Supporting demands for the constituent assembly at the moment would amount to playing in the hands of regressive forces,” Koirala said. However, former Speaker of the House of Representatives, Daman Nath Dhungana who was present in the same event, made a categoric assertion that the constituent assembly would pave the way for solution to the present political crises. “In view of what has happened till now, there is nothing wrong in going for a constituent assembly,” said Dhungana. “Latest royal intervention is the fact that the struggle for power between the people and the King is not over yet,” Dhungana further added. “We must go by the writings on the wall and that is elections to the constituent assembly.” On the occasion, Koirala also issued a veiled threat saying that if the dissolved parliament was not restored, things would take a dangerous course “affecting the system in place, including the monarchy.” Padma Ratna Tuladhar, a human rights activist, singled out insurgency as the underlying problem and talks as the only way out to restore the derailed political process. He blamed the government led by Deuba for failing to demonstrate seriousness in talks by failing to come up with response to demand concerning constituent assembly. He also expressed the view that the situation may go out of hand just in the event the extremist element in the government decide to crush the rebel outfit rather than make corrections in the constitutional process. Whatta question!! Great one. Seriously, Why doesn't he die? The guy who is responsible to bring misery in every Nepali's life. The guy who is responsible to take the sunshine off every Nepali's face. The guy, who just filled his and his relatives pocket and emptied out every drop of the f#@^in' blood in every Nepali's body. How can he accuse somebody of "Grand design" when he is not clean himself? It may be a "grand design" but Girija doesn't deserve saying that. Girija, There are million ways of atmahatya, but I will tell you the easiest one. "Daru ma paani umalera, tyasma dubera mar."

Just shows Nepalese are ill-adapted to the demands made by system as complex as democracy. Or else, how come he gets elected? So in that sense, the voters were choosing their own demise fully knowing how he has taken the country down a slippery slope. It is easy for him to see a grand design (which is there, no doubt) becuase he himself had one--know what I mean? Takes one to know one? The people did not throw him out from the parliament, but how about the party members? How come they could not curtail the power of someone so unpopular and so incapable of leadership? Obviously, democratic practices have not functioned at any level.

Well what else could that bastard think of other than his personal benefit. He sold Tanakpur in the hands of India, now his claim ( royal massacre was a grand plan) shows he was an equal participant in the royal massacre (he was the PM at that time). He is so cunning that it will take a century for the innocent, illiterate Nepali public to understand his black deeds. He called himself a freedom fighter when "Akhtihar durupayog" asked for an explaination about his properties and his daughter's properties. He said how could they doubt a freedom fighter like him ? Well if he was that clean he should have had no objection to the investigation. I guess he wants to the name koiralas to have the same effect in Nepal as the Gandhis had in Inida. But lets remind the old bastard that this isn't India and neither it is 1947. The koiralas may have effect in Biratnagar for a while but nowhere else. I think we should have a pogram in Boston. The theme "God Bless Nepal, with the death of Girja Prasad Koirala".

I cringe with horror the prospects of Nepal's future. How is Nepal going to develop in the hands of these morons???? There is no way. Nepal is heading towards gutter and nobody can do nothing about it. I am still surprised as to how the Royal Massacre took place and if it did take place, how can the crime escape without knowing who did such horrific acts. And now the topic has halted as if nothing hapenned at all. Its such a shame. I regret having such politicians, such politicians saying ratatatat ratatata, he even smiled, in the fu***ing world press conference..what the fu** is this???? Kill him first. Then its Girija's turn, or is it?? What a man?? He will go down as one of the terrific person in the Nepalese history, a true player, a fu**ing sachha politician, a freedom fighter. Wait a minute its time to give a big laugh.............................. And now its Lokendra Bdr. Chand. There are plenty of rumours that Mr. Chand was hiding some place and helping the Royal Massacre. Whether there is something like that or not, remains mystery and will remain like that. There is one ukhan,"Jun jogi aaye pani kanai chireko". "Jun neta aaye pani desh jastai tastai". Infact I have started feeling like, I think desh jasta tastai is a good thing. Bigarna ta bhayena ni....................

It is sad that we had a leader called 'Girija' who was mainly nurtured in Benarus and was prime-minister of the country during the most of the period we had democracy.Obviously he is the main person responsible for the present situation of the country. He brought mainly 'Bihari' brand of bemocracy to Nepal and no doubt we have reached great heights.Everytime anybody says anything against him, he would say 'sishu prajatantra is in khatara' and get away with it. In my opinion, he has already died his political death. We are hearing his last hiccups.History will judge him as a corrupt and selfish leader with an i.q. of about 80.He is the main reason for our worsening socio-economic problems which in turn gave rise to the present insurgency which I think is mainly class struggle as was French revolution. He was in power because India supported him and Nepalese were ignorant. I will not speculate on the grand design without knowing the definite truth, but I agree that this person should shut up. May God Pashupatinath save our country!

Girija is the same man who was dismissed as an "Incompetent Havaldar' by his brother BP. How come the Congress Party doesn't seem to have any other leader than this piece of work. No wonder Nepal is in its present predicament.

A major triumph for democracy in Nepal would be the defeat in election of political leaders who have betrayed us, not their "untimely" death. If the electorate and the institutional mechanism cannot insure corrupt leaders from not getting elected, then there is much to be desired from so called democracy. If democracy was to be understood only in its minimalist term (holding free elections), then Nepal probably had the most democracy among the third wavers...
