Assuming you are in the US, try to following mail order stores from New York that have good prices and good reputation (beware of sleezy places with cheaper prices and hidden other costs). They ship UPS or FedEx ground with very reasonable rates: www.bhphotovideo.com www.adorama.com

A good starting point would be http://electronics.cnet.com/electronics/0-1429209.html?tag=dir As for finding a decent 2MPix or more for $150 or less, I must say, "Good luck." Take a look at Fuji FinePix A200.

Yo dude, Go for Konica KD 200 Z . 2.21 megapixels and in British pounds it's only £210 (rrp) I've been using the same and it takes brilliant pictures even with low light. Good for taking Night shots as well. The another good thing about it is it has zoom up to 3x (optical) that is like zoom given by 105 mm lens (conventional camera) & it uses AA battery, so it doesn't cost a fortune to use that camera. U can also use rechargeable AA battery. For digital zoom u can use your photo software (any) and don't need to look for digital zoom specification in your camera. I purchased it in February in £249 now it's price crashed down to £210. Have fun taking pictures

I have Polaroid PDC 2300, that I bought from Ubid. It would be more than you need for a good price.

bideshi, you need to be more specific if you need help. On second thought, trash the HP camera and get a real camera. I can say that because I too bought one couple of years ago...Now I'm shoping for another one! well-wisher, whatever you do don't get a HP but before you listen to anyone do some researh yourself.

Bideshi, if you think that the memory card is giving you a problem, then yes, you could replace it. Do you have a CF memory card?? It usually costs around 20-30 bucks for a 64MB memory card. I just bought a Cannon Powershot S330 for $350 and it's superb. S200 is even cheaper and it is so small that it can fit in your palm. I got the S330 for some extra features like the digital zoom and it's capability to record a 1 min movie with sound. Digital cameras are becoming cheaper everyday so if you have patience then do some research and read a lot of reviews. But if you don't mind spending a few extra bucks for special features then I would say go for Cannon Powershot S330 or S200. Goodluck on your search. -LoGiN

Hi Bideshi, I don't think that your problem is relates to the Memory card. Memory card's function is to store the picture, it's like a diskette where you store the files. Your LCD monitor malfunctioning might be because of the camera itself. Lot of digital camera owner's have the same complaints about the LCD screen. But if you want to buy a memory card and test it then, sure, go ahead. You could buy them in any electronic stores like best buy, circuit city or even online. GoodLuck. -LoGiN

Hi Bideshi, Since your LCD display isn't working properly a number of things may be wrong. For example did you at any time leave the LCD in signlight for long periods of time? This could destroy the LCD in a number of cases! IS the battery ok? May be you forgot to press some switch. Consult the manual that came with the camera. Don't press too hard on the LCD. This might have caused some damage to the LCD. Check all these and hopefully the camera will be ok. Biruwa, the Plant :)
