Folks, I am interested in US politics and I am planning to involve in a local politics in US. Everyone knows that a citizen(naturalized) of United States can involve in local politics. Here is a site where you can find some information about the Political Parties: Democratic Party and Republican Party. http://www.polisci.com

I am interested in US politics not on who wins, but on who invest how much for a hot seat. Do you know Texas, banker Tony Sanchez has spent $60 million of his own money on his Democratic campaign for governor. This amount is eual to half of Nepal's this fiscal year budget. BAF RE BAF.

Madhavji, Your calculation is not correct. Nepal's budget is not 120 million dollars it is 1.2 billion dollars. Just wanted to correct it. But this damn banker has spent all the money deposited in his bank. He is spending 60 million to get a post which give only 120000 dollars a year as a salary.

Parmendra Ji, There are lots of chances that Dems are going to pick some extras seats. Arkansa governer(Republican) is trailing now, and Tim Huchitson(republican too); the senator of Arkansa is going to loose because of his personal problems. Isn't it great news for Democrats. Go Democrats Go...............

There was an excellent piece on CBS 60 Minutes tonite on the Texas Race. I was quite impressed by the flamboyance and charisma of Ron Kirk. I wish he wins over his Republican counterpart for the senate seat vacated by Sen. Phil Gramm. I also hope that Bill McBride beat Jeb Bush in the guberatorial race in Florida which would be quite an embarrashment for the other Bush.
