Hi,
I have been trying to reach someone (Nepali) who is a student of University of New Mexico. I'm thinking of moving to the UNM for the Fall 2003. If someone can help me a llittle bit for a few weeks to stay over there, I heartily appriciate for your help. Please, help me out a little bit, I will be your good friend.

I don't know any student there...but I think Dr. Alok Bohara is teaching economics there.

Are you going to study there? Nepalese in UNM would be happy to greet you there (I am sure - Maiti Ko Saba Pyaro Huncha Re...) - not sure if there are many Nepalese thogh.
I think, I know one contact name. Have you heard of Dr. Alok Bohora? He had published some article in Kathmandu post recently. If I am not mistaken then I think he said he is professor at UNM.
If you search in Google (you could try locating Faculty in UNM site also), I think you will get lots of contact information about him. I am sure he will be able to point you in the right direction for managing your stay in UNM.
Have a pleasant stay in beautiful (but, remote) Albouquerqee, NM.

Dirk may be right. I also heard that there is Dr. Alok Bohara who is a professor at the University of New Mexico. Some of my friends who know of him tell me he is very helpful. Does not hurt to try to reach him. I saw one of his articles just last week in the Kathmandu Post (Oct 29 or 28?), something on the constituency assembly. Good luck.
