guys i am thinking to go to grad school for MBA program in the near future. but i have not made up my mind yet about where to go. i am talking about moderate schools ( both financially and academically not Harvard or Wharton or other top ones where i may not qualify). what is the minimum GMAT score requirement on most of these colleges? what prospects do you guys see after the completion of this program? i know it all depends on you but beside that is it like a wow!! thing once you have the degree you get a job. lastly i would really appreciate your honest response and thank you for your thoughts.
cheers :-)

Businessweek magazine has a whole section (with bulletin boards and everything) devoted to B-school admissions.

Check out www.businessweek.com

and look for the B-school section.

If you have got alternative plans to do MBA in the U.K. then u can try

1. Warwick univeristy (www.warwick.ac.uk)
2. Lancaster University (www.lancaster.ac.uk)
3. London School of Economics (www.lse.ac.uk)
4. Cranfield University(www.cranfield.ac.uk) It is specialised in masters level programmes
5. Manchester University (www.manchester.ac.uk)
To list a few...

Entry requirements (THIS IS JUST A GENERAL GUIDELINES ONLY may not be relevant for all the Institutions mentioned above)

Applicants will be expected to have three or more years of relevant business experience and hold at least a second class honours degree from a UK university or a degree of equivalent standard.

Holders of graduate-level professional qualifications may also be admitted and are encouraged to apply.

Applicants who do not possess either an honours degree or professional qualifications are also considered, but normally only if they supply a GMAT score of at least 500 points.

Applicants whose undergraduate degree was not taught and examined in English must have one of the following English language qualifications: IELTS 6.5 or TOEFL 575 (paper based) or 233 (computer based) score.

My VIEW towards MBA:

Well MBA opens a whole new world of career prospects and it's a fame thing as well. Good for personal development & to work in Big City based companies.

THERE IS THIS WOW FACTOR IN DOING MBA than not doing it.
