Bunch of us had a chance to meet Manisha Koirala at Harvard’s Fong Auditorium, Boylston Hall on November 8. She talked about her role in soon to be released movie “Escape from Taliban”, and answered many questions from the audience regarding her Bollywood career. I was impressed because she looked simple and spoke openly. Importantly, she started her speech with genuine appreciation for her Nepali background and concern towards current political and social conditions in the country. We asked her if she would have time for a wider Nepali gathering in Boston. Unfortunately, she did not. I just thought - our Indian friends (the program was organized by Indian Student Group at Harvard) invited our own Manisha Koirala to this city and none of us knew about it. Je bhaye pani, je soche pani, Hamri didi sarhai ramri po raichhin. Saani Sanni, Mitho muskan, esai uchalu uchalu lagne bhayeki. Jai hos timro. Fan
