utopian	Posted on 12-Nov-02 11:14 AM "The country's problems cannot be solved with the support of non-political groups." Madav Kumar Nepal, general secretary of CPN-UML, in Kantipur. My question is what does he mean by "non-political groups"?? Is he referring to general public? Please enlighten me.
SIWALIK	Posted on 12-Nov-02 11:43 AM It is an absurd phrase by itself. We have to check it in its proper context. As far as I am aware, there is politics as soon as there are two individuals. I would venture out to say that he might be suggesting groups that are not associated with any political parties or ideologies--something like civil society. He might be suggesting everyone has to take side and not sit on the fence if we are to solve the current imbroglio.
