UML heading towards identity crisis. Deuba Government sacked. Chand took over. Power went back to Palace. Constitutional crisis!! Maoist problem is getting stronger everyday. No rays of hope peace. What next???? It seems there is going to be polarization in Nepali politics. Right now there are four distinct political powers in Nepal. a. Palace Who believes in absolute monarchy of strong monarchy including RPP and Sadhvawana party and some other king's man ( including "Mandale") and some beaurocrats and RNA. b. Maoist. This is emerging as the most strong power in Nepal. It took advantage of unprecedented development that occurred in Nepal last six months. c. Democratic power. Nepali congress which is strong advocate of Democracy. But it was not able to present its good image during last decade it has also problem to make strategy, how to move from here. (Not necessary to mention, Deuba fraction of Nepali congress will be eventually vanished like Baam dev) . d. Identity crisis for UML. The most important and interesting question here is role of UML. Being the largest party of Nepal ( considering its seat in Assembly), it doesnt have a clear vision what to do next. It is possible that, most of its hard-core comrades will join in Maobadi and most of selfish folks of UML join in government. Its likely that UML will loose its ground and Maoist will take advantage. Again it is hard for UML to show it is distinct from other democratic power. Most probably there will be repetition of 17 saal where some communist supports king's move.
