Dear San I am a regular reader of Kurakani forum since the last 6-7 months but as a silent reader. From the last weeks, I also started participating in some of the discussions. After a day of busy work/study, I like to refresh myself in the evening visiting Sajha but couldn't open any of the threads from my laptop at home. I even can't open the threads in day time as well. I have not experienced any problems in visiting other sites but the discussions threads do not open. My laptop is of 10GB memory with an excellent processor. I don't know the technicalities behind the problem and thought that you will be of help. Any other suggestions from fellow Sajhabasis will be highly appreciated. hehe

HEHE, I have disabled some scripts on the page. Are you still having problems? I have had 3 people in total tell me that they can't access the threads. The problem seems to be very weird. Are you using Internet Explorer? If so, which version? This site is more designed for IE 4.0 and above. Let me know if it's working or not... San

Dear San Thanks for your reply with suggestions. I tried several times but it didn't work. I am able to open the earlier threads kept in archives but none of the current threds open. I am using Microsoft Millenium package and I think the internet explorer is of the latest version but it doesn't work. Can you please still disable some of the scripts so that it works? Or just give me other suggestions on how my problem can be solved. It is really difficult to dream of a life without logging on Sajha.com Hehe

San, why don't you set up a method of posting via email. Using POP3 protocal or IMAP, you can let them participate in the Kurakani section. Does it cost too much? HG

Gurudev I am not even able to read the contents as the threads don't open. If it were possible to read the contents, that feature would of course help to participate in Kurakani. I don't know what solutions are there to help me. Anticipating reply from San Hehe

Hehe, Couple of questions: 1. Can you see the main home page correctly? 2. What do you see when you click on any threads? 3. Do you have problems seeing usergroups? 4. What version of IE are you using? Go to HELP - About Internet Explorer to find out. Let me know, HG, I want to make this site web based only. Making it compatible with emails will only make it more complicated... San

Dear San My happiness was only momentary. I couldn't open the threads again. It worked only once on last Saturday. I am now giving the details you have asked so that you can help me. I can easily open the homepage and usergroups, can search kurakani even l but can't open any threads. When I open threads, it is blank and sometime that CAll Nepal as low as logo appears and nothing more. It neither gives any message such as 'can't open the page or can't find server'. It simply doesn't open how long you wait. My internet explorer is 5.5 version. If you need other details, please let me know. Thanks hehe

I think the thread is programmed in such a way that during the finals and/or at the end of semesters, it automatically denies access to students. Try it after December 15th, hehe.
