I think this will pick up market after couple of years.
It is a strategy to get into server,router SPACE for the future, which mostly used to be and still is Sun based. Market Penetration I SAY.
Intel people are a smart kind and they don't just develop a product without being able to
reap some benefits out of it.
I think the application is geared more towards the small business and commercial market rather than for home PCs.
Anyway this is a testament to Moore's law (one of the cofounders of Intel) that the chip processing power doubles every 18 months or so.
