Here is my attempt, the first one, at writing a Nepali poem, touching although obliquely, on the theme you proposed.
Hidi rahe pailaharu, rokkiye pani zindagi
Dukha saath ma hidyo mero, chhute pani har khushi
Uthaera najarharu herda maile eta uti
Sanjh parisakechha haraye chhan din jati.
Haath mero khali rahechha haath timro thiyo tyahan
Ekanta lai payein maile saath timro chhutyo jahan
Bhije ankha, thar-tharye onth haru
Timro naam na liney bacha khaye onth haru
Raat paryo tara chamke chandrama ko uyjyalo thyo
Haath rakhey mutu ma mero jahan huri chalya thyo
Bholi pakha bihani ni ma phul haru rojda mailey
Bhetein kewal paila haru afulai khojda mailey.

Here's to you, a quote from Robert Frost, that expresses my sentiment:

hazyu ko uuuu maathi(tuppa) ko kabita padhe. 11 line rahecha. 14 choti dictionary paltai of course one for each word. ek ghanta laagayera nepali ma ultha gare, word by word. dui ghanta lagaayera sochae. Chintan gare, manaan gare!! conclusion nikaale
That was awesome. maile ta cut and paste garera save pani garisake. is it copyright violation yet?? hehe

Gee! thanks. So very nice of you. I did read your posting......you still remember me being one of the very first Sajhaites you bumped into, so to speak. I think we kind of "discovered" Sajha around the same time. I've really enjoyed reading all your pieces...like I've said before from the surreal to the sublime.....thought-provoking compositions. Your name is so befitting....you truly are a "star".
