San Ji,
As an obsessive Sajha member, I have been finding Sajha web site very slow for the last couple of weeks, but I can browse other sites relatively faster. So, I think there’s nothing wrong with my ISP.
Do we always have to juggle up with this slow server? What can we do about it? Any contributions for server fund?? I don’t want Sajha web site end up like Sukulgunda.com.

I have made few changed in the underlying code that should speed up the rendering of pages a little. Unfortunately I had to remove the automatic underlining of hyperlinks - since this was also slowing things down.

From a usability point of view, the front page is too cluttered and has a lot of "visual noise". I suggest a few things:

* Try to remove unnecessary visual cues like big shadings and borders
* Give more white space (especially the thread list in the front page which is small and cluttered. This is very apparent in screens with less resolution)
* Make the title more readable (especially try to avoid the urge to use a picture as background on the left bar and the title bar in gbnc.org)

Anyway, try to look around some other sites and take the better ideas of them. I recommend some sites that I think have better usability and good interface:

* http://www.sebsonline.org/
* http://www.edunepal.com/
* http://www.nepalhomepage.com/

Hi Salakjith,
I appreciate your feedback. Currently I don't have time to do a major redesign such as what you have suggested.

But I am open to considering any designs if you have time to make it or anyone else for that matter. You will get due credit on the About Us page, with a link to your website if any portion of your design is used.

San Jyu,

I was just wondering,
Every message in the message board starts with .jpg image of letters.
Like this!

Wouldn't it help you if you got rid of it?
this one is like 533 bytes......!!

Just a thought!!

Ignore it, if you don't think so!!
