I got this by email and promptly learned humility. I got only one right answer. Can anyone do better? WITHOUT cheating and checking the Web? Passing requires 4 correct answers.

Oops, big Alu for ya!
I thought May for number 4, too.
I only got number 9, and my hint on that is: the fruit is common in stores, with a name that gives away its origin; it was renamed for marketing purposes because "Chinese gooseberry" doesn't sound too yummy.
