Hi all,
Shizu Upadhyay is co-ordinating the June 2001 ko
book reviews.
If you have written a book review or are thinking
of writing one of about 700-1000 words, then
please email it to me by the end of June 2001.
I am co-ordinating the July 2001 ko two issues
of The Kathmandu Post Review of Books
I need altogether 10 articles (each not exceeding 1000
words!), and some of the writers who said they would
contribute are:
1.Ramesh Sharma, the libertarian Nepali from the SCN days.
2.Rabindra Puri, an architect/consultant at Patan Museum.
3.Rajendra Khadka, a freelance writer who has edited a travel book on Nepal; the book was published out of Berkeley, California
4.Surendra Man Sthapit, a management guru now quite
fond of teaching others negotiation strategies.
5.Kalpana Ghimire, a director at the French Cultural
Center whose passion is: ancient Greece.
6. Narayan Wagle, the maverick reporter at Kantipur
Publications.
Since I'll be writing a review myself, I still need
THREE more reviews/essays.
So, please consider writing something: either a review
or a thought-essay. I'll be doing the final editing.
