Hi all,

Thanks to San's initiative, I now have a new email address: ashu@sajha.com

I post that address here to let you all know that you can now use that email address
to send me emails.

In the past, a number of Sajha folks have seny me emails to ask for my assistance
to help solve some of their problems, and, time-permitting, I enjoyed doing what I
could, and that was fine.

Still, please keep in mind that though I cannot WRITE your research paper nor can I
go collect research materials in Nepal for you (believe me, I do get such requests too!),
I can -- in most cases -- probably refer you to appropriate people in Nepal so that your problems get solved and that your questions get answered and that you get what you are looking for.

This the least bit of helpful role I can play in my spare time to make this sajha community stronger and more connected.

San out Sajhapur King,

is so biased. He picked up Ashu to tell peoples that Sajha.com is really Sajha, see Ashu is now using ashu@sajha.com.

Yo ta purai biased bho ni hou. Hami lai ta oohi! janata samjeko ni. aba hami pani sadak tataune ho. Tara kahile kaha bata bhane thaha chhaina. J hos hamro human right chai hanan nahos hai.

Oh, damn!!
Sorry, San, for creating -- what I see as -- unnecessary trouble for you.

Then again, let's turn this whole thing into a POSITIVE note:

Everyone, let us NOT forget that though sajha attracts more than 1000 unique
visitors every 24 hours, so far, only a handful -- and I repeat only a handful -- have selflessly contributed money to make this wonderful service called sajha.com easier
for San to manage.

Surely, there is no such thing as free lunch, and that is why let us all now take time to contribute money to sajha.com so that-- like PBS and NPR, if you know what I mean -- sajha too continues to remain open, free and accessible to all of us to share news,
views and do guff-suff.

You don't have to give millions of dollars to sajha.
Just give what you can so that basic expenses can be covered.

This is not too much to ask, is it?

Inspired by Biswo's two-time ko financial contributions, I too am going to contribute AGAIN to sajha.com.

For details, click on that "about sajha" on the left hand side.

Samaajsewi/buddhijibi Oohi,

Talking about the help you render, how often do you go to the office of Nepal magazine? I subscribed the magazine about four months ago and I have received only two issues so far. I have written to them but I do not know if they are going to respond [my expectations have gone down eversince they published my article in the Kathmandu post but never let me know. I am not sure if the management of these two publication is the same]. I would really appreciate your efforts if you could "jakjhaakaos" them when you go there next time, i.e. if you have been going there often. Otherwise, please discard this posting. I can give you my details if you can help me with this.

Thanks, Ashu, for crediting me for inspiration. I must add here something: may be I have contributed two-times, but that doesn't mean the amount is two times more than what you or others have contributed.

I also wanted to start another feud with you regarding that 'no. 1 fan of sajha' upadhi. How can you claim yourself to be number 1? But since I just exhausted a lot energy on another issue, I am not going to fight with you re that rightnow:-)

Let me unwind with 007 (Die Another Thing) tomorrow. Then , may be I will have some vigour.

Anyone James Bond fan here? Tomorrow is our day guys!

Samaajsebi Ashu,

Thanks a bunch for your help.

According article 15, sub-article 3, khanda (ka), deputy-khanda (ii) of the constitution of the republic of Sajhapur [Nepal laai ta Raajbhakta, semi-raajbhakta haru le khaane bhaye, aba Sajhapur laai bhaye pani republic bhanera chitta bujhaauna paryo :)],

I, M.P., full name Misunderstood Poet, the Chief Editor of the Sinking Nepal, hereby promise to write and mail a check equivalent, in dollar amount, to atleast two digits,

to Mr. San Pradhan, the chief accountant, moderator and in a nut shell, the real 'victim' of inaction of most Sajhabasis, including myself until now,

by 5pm Eastern Standard Time on Monday, the 25th of November 2002 A.D.

through regular air mail.

I hereby agree that my ancestral property in Mareng Village Development Committee Ward no-6, Arghakhanchi, aka Ne Ka Paa maobadi ko Jana Sarkaar, Chhetra 3, shall remain liable in circumstances that I fail to comply to my pledge within this specified time, day, month and year.

I would also like to request all dhani sajhabasis to be a little less cunning with their checkbooks and yield to the request made by the former chief of CIAA, Commission for the Investigation of [verbal] Abuse of Ashutosh Tiwari, his excellency Oohi Ashu, and make the republic of Sajhapur a better place to live, quarrel, sing, flaunt, flirt, bargain, advertize, laugh, piss off, and more than anything else, to be so addicted to it that one
stops studying for his exams the next day and starts posting bullshit here [like I, M.P., full name Misunderstood Poet, the Chief Editor of Sinking Nepal, am doing now].

Dear HahooGuru,
I am surprised that a guru of your high credibility would pass judgment on me as a biased person without knowing the facts.

Sajha.com has always been a site that listens to it's visitors. After all sajha.com is a collective home of all of us where we can tickle our intellects - where we choose to spend our valuable time to discuss, learn and intermingle among others who are all commonly tied together with the great love we have for our country.

Visitors have constantly given me valuable suggestions which I have tried to take care of on a one to one basis, and which have made this site what it is today.

We have all heard the saying "Bolne ko dhido pani bechincha, nabolne ko chamal pani bikdaina". The gist here is that Ashu had once posted to this site on 13-Feb-02 that he would be happy to have ashu@sajha.com

(For your reference please visit http://www.sukuti.com/archives/articles/3426.htm#15429)

I just happend to decide today after some research that I had been doing for a long time that I would make the sajha.com emails available to users who expressed an interest in having the address. And as you can see from the posting in the above link, he had expressed an interest in getting a sajha.com email, hence he's the first one to get it. I, as the admin of this site would like to make unbiased decisions by catering to requests as they come in: In this case, it just happened to be a first come first serve basis and nothing else.

Having said that, anyone who wish to get an email address with yourname@sajha.com format, please let me know in this thread or thru private email to san@sajha.com

Regards and keep Hahooing!

Oh!San ji,

I just doing H@hoo!, take it easy. I am as always not serious. Just tried to get fun out of that ashu@sajha.com.... I guess your reply is also not serious, just "disappoint bhe jhai garya bhanera line wala chhu hai ma ta".

I knew that i did not pay, the first reason, I thought I did not deserve. I am not to the level I was poor 14years back, as a fresh graduate at the time. But, only thing ....... I am confused how much should I donate. Its just in pending. Well, I am contributing my H@hoo! fundas ...... but, can not be compared with money that you need to run this site ...........

Rest later. Aru PAchhi!?!

San ji, why don't you create an automated "signature", kyaa, signature ta ghagadan banye bhaneko ta tyo "!?!" type garna chai khub jhyau bhera, lou na kehi garnus. Last two lines automatically load hos ke.
San Posted on 22-Nov-02 09:22 AM

Dear Hahooji,
I understood the humor component in your posting but you did have a valid comment that I thought needed clarification lest it be taken otherwise.

Regarding contributing to the site, I want to reiterate that I have NO complaints about running this site and paying for it, for me sajha.com is a hobby that I enjoy very much, and I don't want anyone to feel like they HAVE to pay, or feel that I'm the 'victim'!

All the same, I have felt very rewarded when visitors like yourselves, have come up on your own and started contributing towards bearing the cost of running/maintaining sajha. So my stand on contributions is: Yes, I am accepting contributions if you'd like to contribute and I would take it as a very positive gesture; but if you do not contribute, no love is or will be lost. I want sajha.com to be a site that will Bring together Nepali Communities. We see how hard the task is by reading the daily rituals on sajha, but at least the platform is there for us to come together, without having to feel threatened or restricted, to explore the possibilities... of making Nepal a better place... someday... maybe....

Regards,
San

San,
I was just trying to be humorous; wasn't feeling a constraint if you inferr that in any way--if you were referring to my posting about the 'victim' thing.

The Chief accountant of sajha was referring to the 'victim' thing - in case anything felt that way :)

M.P.

I am delighted to read about your pledge to contribute to sajha.
Thanks, yaar.

No pressure, really, but let us do continue to support this wonderful venture
called sajha.com bu liberally giving what we can in terms of paisa.

As San, the man, himslf put it: "Bolne ko dhido pani bechincha, nabolne ko chamal pani bikdaina".

Let's do bolen kaam
and sell dhido here.

Biswo, let me start another quarrel with you.

My dear Dipak Dai says that the new Cabinet has just awarded the title of "number one fan of sajha.com" to me and me alone.

Ashu:My dear Dipak Dai says that the new Cabinet has just awarded the title of "number one fan of sajha.com" to me and me alone.

Iinformation = sum of (p x log(1/p))
When p =1 (probability of happening something ) , information = 0. We get no information.

The 2nd law also say, that you create a maximum disorder "probability of happening any events has equal chances: p=1/N, then, we call it maximum disorder/or entropy.

So, what shall we do: we take that one litre of mineral water and pour it on ocean, and ask Biswo to find out that 1 lit mineral water and drink it? Get it the mineral water from that ocean. I mean its a great trick to dissolve the 1 lit mineral water in ocean, so that Biswo dies of dehydration. I personally feel uncomfortable with this trick of bringing another gallon of salty water and mixing with that 1 lit mineral water. Paschim had already promised to bring the test result from lab whether that 1 lit mineral water is really worth drinking or not. Before you mix with salty water, lets wait, and see how far Biswo's 1 lit mineral water is worth drinking, and so that you will not be accused of playing foul against Biswo, and If you can wait till then, it might elevate your own status up, otherwise, we TAMASE will have wrong judgement on you for spoiling the 1 lit by making it in separable..................

Too prove "one mistake?(not proved yet who made the mistake: ashu or biswo)", don't commit more mistakes. Looking at the brain drain problem in Nepal, Ashu you are heading in same direction, as Dipak Dai was heading in 2045-46 (in that TV interview I explained before this posting), and next generation fellows should not be discussing Ashu in fact played a foul game against Biswo to prove his "mistake of citing private talk stuffs in public places"... this small things get enlarged when it recycles many cycles: like Di-oxyn problem. ... So, my private suggestion is don't mis-judge we readers, and you should not blow on our face while trying to blow Biswo. You are not blowing Biswo, but, you are smashing on we readers who have great faith on you as well as Biswo.

Bhanna khojeko kura bujhe huncha... aru guff and examples are just my usual friends in my postings... they come and go unnoticed.

Aru Pachhi!?!
