It reminds me of the trio Shailaja, Kunta Sharma, Dibyeshwori Rana(?) against King Mahendra in OOHI 2017 sal! Paschim: The left one, I think, is Shailaja in the making. Where is Pradeep Giri? I smell a rat :)! Good Luck. |

Jayahos, thanks! Hadn't seen it before -- will take it home, but a quick skim portrayed a highly sentimental BRB! Thought these Comrades were supposed to be "dispassionate" and "numb" -- by party decree! In case you missed this thread (where I've jotted my own quick stuff on Mr. Shah): http://www.sajha.com/sajha/html/OpenThread.cfm?forum=2&ThreadID=7995 ---- Still wondering about the one on the Left! Why not? was my answer... in next few minutes another fellow came. he also seated and finally all 4 seats were occupied around the table. The last one who seated was CO-chair of the conference that I was attending. He asked me, "what is your nationality?", I said to him, "Nepal", and he replied "Nepal?". Then, I asked "Do you know where is Nepal?" He said, yes I know. Then, I added: I am asking this question to you because some peoples ask me "Is Nepal in South America? near brazil?". He laughed. All of us laughed... Then, he added "I know three things about Nepal". I asked him, what are those 3 three please tell me. He said "Nepal is in between china and india. Nepal has Mt. Everest and Nepalis have very good eyesight. Nepalis have 6/6 eyeshight. Tell me your eye power?". I replied him that yes, my eyepower when I left nepal was 6/6, probably it is still same. He and other two laughed at me. because the other two were surprised that there is no eye power as 6/6 in their country, and tried to confirm with him. He said, "as such there is no eye power like 6/6." I objected him "In Nepal average eye are 6/6, and we have different scale", he replied, oh really. They had 1/1 as average scale and for driving a car they need atleast 0.7 in their scale. They were surprised (well, it was what I used to see in my health certificate when I applied for admission to ... some univ).... I further asked him, how did you know that Nepalis have good eye sight. He saw in a TV program, when a camera man tried to see things (animal) about 1 km far, the camera man could not identify whether there is really any animal. When he tried to find via his view finder, after hard search, he confirmed thier claims, even colors. This man told me that you know in my country we say only humans wear eye glasses, those who don's have eye glasses are called animal .... Unfortunately, he did not have eyeglasses at that time of breakfast, and I asked him what about you? He laughed, and said, don't worry I have glasses in my room downstairs..... He said, Nepalis are having eye of animal strength ... in fact he wanted to make a joke that "yasto eye power hune manche hoina animal nai ho...".... The other two laughed 2 minutes later when the first person explained in their own language, and I laughed 3 times........... So, dhumbassie, ke ho ankha ta khubai powerful rahechha ni.... Nepali ........ (I told him 4th important things about Nepal, and he later advertised that "Oh! Now, I know 4 things about Nepal.". I will write when time and context are appropriate. In our highschool, we once had this small argument about immigrant (in Chitwan) of which places are the most 'bokaa' (the man who thinks about girls and tries to approach them all the time). My point was 'Lamjung' because Subas was a real bokaa. He always talked about girls and his parents came from Lamjung. Some said 'Gorkha' but my good Gorkheli friends were sabai sadhu jastai nice and harmless guys, so I didn't agree with that. I don't remember if we agreed on anything. But looks like I should have agreed to 'Gorkha'. -- Btw, raamra thiti herna ta Ra Pra Paa ko julus tira jaanu parchha bhanthe haamro tira. bhulera pani baampanthiko julus maa najaanu bhanthe. aru tira ke bhanchhan kunni? |

Paschimji you hit it! PK girls!!! He he My IA, I completed from PK! I got the scare of my life seeing so many geroo dhoti clad beautiful ladies sitting on the steps of PK. My companion (Male) who came to help me register squirmed under the baleful stares of the ladies, who refused to make way for us. Each girl lounging on the left side of the steps had to be painfully addressed before she created stepping space for us. No man dared to walk alone through a sea of "joginis" in PK Campus! They only hung outside the campus gates..... waiting to catch a glimpse of their crush! And sometimes followed them to their homes! The students were very diverse starting from geographical regions in Nepal to personalities: The timid to the blatant, the simple to the ultra fashionable, the geekiest to the compulsive bunkers (class-cutters). The fashion conversation tittered around the color of the blouse (....given that the dhotis remained constant!), the style of the shoes and the designs of the bags! My English professor ( a loooooong time substitute) awarded me (and two others) 32 out of 100 and the others F! I led the whole class to the dean's office in protest! We refused to budge until the marks were restored! Needless to say we triumphed! :) But, back home when I narrated the day's events, I got reprimanded big time for being "bold" and "Asomati".... hehe! PK.... can't forget those incredible days....! |

It's not Sunday today but I have a confession: Me and a friend of mine, in front of PK. Purpose-- bird watching, of course. Me, having the sole of my dingo shoes rubber padded, to gimme height. A bevy of sweet smelling damsels passes by. Promptly, I start singing: "Yo keti ko theek chhaina chala Jabani mai sukechha gala...." A beautiful girl turns around from the flock. How could I have known such a beautiful smile could be laced with inordinate sarcasm? Or was it a pick up line that I failed to pick in embarrassment? "Yo keta ko theek chhaina jutta Jiskida mai jabani bitla..." Good lord, I hope it's not one of you ladies here! :) Peace! |

Poonte, I just checked the pic -- it looked horrible on my laptop at home, but on a larger desktop screen, it was very clear yesterday. One day, my mom in exasperation said,"...aaja chahin kun hero lai bhokera lyais????" Goodness, all these were Hero Honda heroes!..... A residue of the old "Rocky mera naam, Rocky mera naam, Rocky mera naam!!!!!" Sunjay Dutt ko "Rocky" movie which I had watched when I was in elementary school. And "Kya yehi pyara hai?" was hardly on my mind as we (my friends and I) tried in vain to do elude the Honda heroes!!! And you know... what bhakti, dedication and obsession.... I would see them (the heores) there every day same time, same place.....they seemed to know my class schedule better than I did!!! |

Of course they(we) did, thats why they were there for -- To take care of such a beautiful lady and her "hirni jaisi chaal". No wonder, that "chaal" would bring some head on collision, and those guys worked hard to prevent such accidents. They would protect you from those "kaam napaka" street "khaate" from obscenity. They would make sure you don't forget your schedule. In case you did, they would always be there for you, with a copy of nicely organised schedule. You should have asked for a ride to those hero honda heros. They would have given you a free ride for your entire year in that college. You should have asked them for lunch. You could have saved your every penny for the brand new "madhuri dixit" blouse and HIP leather bags and shoes. You should have used them, for they were always there, just to serve the butterflies, just to get used. You should be greatful to those guys, because they always took care of you. Although they didn't get anything in return!! Hats off to those guys for their dedication. Think about it, If we were not there, you and your friends would be glowless!!! :P same old "born dummie" |

God its gore. The male(m) carefully approaches the female(f) as the f can bite the m's head off. Then as they mate for about 1 day the female eats the m's head off.
