Karodpati...and I was disappointed. This movie was THE smashing hit in Nepal and made tons of money! First I thought the movie was bad. But then this movie made Bhuvan KC much rich(er). Then I started thinking may be I am growing too old...that I have lost my sense of awe with these things. Still not sure. :)
MaHa are the Nepali gem, peerless. Haven't yet met anybody who doesn't like their comedy. With Santosh Pant, they make the Nepali comedy trio.
By the way, are MaHa movies and drama available in Cassettes or DVDs on-line?

Santaan!!
I was kiddo, and I used to watch all kinds of movies at that time. I think it was around 88 or something. The only movie i watched after that was I think...................."paral ko aago" in NTV. that was good movie!!
aru, thaha chaina!!
Last Hindi Movie? "Aawara Paagal Deewana".............. chorna ni chorecha "whole nine yards" nai chorecha ni!!
Last English?? "friday after next" ... SUCKS big time.. don't watch!!(my humble suggestion)

Last Nepali movie hereko bhaneko 1999 ma Avatar bhanne. Prior to that, Butwal ko Kalika Hall ma Sampati hereko thie in 1992, after taking a couple of "seals" of sekuwa made on the roadside, served on a saal ko paat. Aba Nashville ma Nepali convention ma gaeko bela thiyo tyo, after over 7 years euta Nepali movie herna paeko, tyo pani Rajesh Hamal superstar bhaneko suneko, kasto rahicha ta tesko movie heridiu na jasto lagyo. FANTOOOS ati nai FANTOOS. $5 bekar ma gayo, baru six-pack beer kineko bhae hunay tyo paisa le.

Whats the problem with these directors of Nepali movies. They go to same school as ind directors go, still why such a huge difference. Guys I agree financially our movie industry is behind, but still can be bit creative hoina ra???
Last time I saw one TV serial..(may be 2 yrs ago..cant remember the name..). They were showing one village girl (suppose to be!!) with sifan ko sari, lipstick, nicely combed hair, with all heavy makeups but with "gagra" on her "kammar" and going to "Padhero" bare foot...man I still laugh when I remember that...
I dont know how NTV news reader reads the nepali news these days but when I was there Rama Sing used to literally shout infront of mike. Cant they be bit creative and present it more nicely...they can learn simply by clicking on different TV channels...haina ra..

the last nepali movie i watched! YOOG dekhin yoog samma...intermission pachi uthera hiden....tyasko dui deen agaadi matrai kaya mat se kaya mat tak herya.......aaba title nai same bhaye pachi ta k herne? nways, rajesh bro le tyo movie ma brand new adidas jutta layera daura katna gaa chai aajhai yaad aaucha..
i think the best nepali movie i ever watched and will ever watch is "SAMJHANA" :) geet ni mitho....
last indian movie "om jai jagdish" addi herna bhyako euta neprican ko ghar ma..america ma gayera brain drain hune movie raicha..sab jaana raata raata bhaka! ehe
last english movie "reign of fire" .i personally liked it.....kina flop bha hola! imagine a giant male spraying sperms over female eggs throughout the world..ehehe......whatta concept!
