Sanji,
Namaskar!

I need some help. Infact you had already provided tips on this in the past but i could not find the thread.

Everytime I visit sajha or open threads, these annoying security boxes / advertisemtents pop up here and there, all over. How do I get rid of them? Your dibya upadesh would be greatly appreciated!

Thanks in advance!

Najar,
Chances are - you have installed some Ad Components into your system inadvertently. For example if you have installed iMesh and/or Morpheus or some other music/file download sharewares, then these 'free' softwares could have teamed up with some Ad Company to get you to agree to install these components into your computer.

These Ad Components run in your computer ALL THE TIME, interact with the internet to download the latest banners into your computer. And at defined windows events, these boxes pop up.

I would check to make sure if you're getting the pop up advertisements on sajha.com only or in other sites as well. It should not be a sajha.com related thing since these are more based on window/browser events.

You should be able to download a software called Ad-aware at http://www.downloads.com which would be able to identify these Ad components hidden in your computer. I suggest you download this software, install it, and run it to check your whole hard drive. Once completed it will identify folders that are suspected hidden spy wares. I would check all of these detected folders and have them deleted.
