Sitara Ji,
That was the poster I was talking about. I was lucky to find it even though it is not clear. But, you can go to the link to see it bigger.

So, where do you position yourself? Spiritualist...full empty floating on top. I can see the holistic feelings when you have a strong faith. :)

It looks like Rusty created this therad ---- dedicated to Sitara

---Anyway this is very nice topic. Positive thinking is the key to success ----- First I thought, should I post my view in this thread? cause Sitara seems like inverted and irritated with my writing. Second ----what the hake --- HUH !! --- THIS IS SAJHA__ __ RIGHT?????

Here is my few chronicle about positive thinking.

I am writing this to share, that I have come to know about the so called New Age concept of thinking. The following is just some portion to the extend of what I know about New Age concept of positive thinking.

Common definition of New Age concept of Positive Thinking, three steps:

1) You can if you think you can. --> You can succeed if you think you can succeed.
2) If you believe you can get what you want and you really believe in it, then you can get what you want.
3) You can create reality according to what you think.

Positive Thinking is just a small part of a bigger umbrella that we called New Age Movement and at current time the New Age influence is sweeping the whole part of the globe. Certainly, the concept of thinking offered by New Age will be around the Positive Thinking and its derivatives.

Sitara, I hope you like it.

Kalanidhi my sweet friend,

Thank you! I absolutely agree with the New Age theories.Although, mine stems from having been born with an old soul hola! :)

Thank you that was sweet of you!

Sitara Ji,
The Spiritualist who is an optimist and a realist must be you:)
That’s what I was trying to explain here, but I am not a philosopher. I always see that your positive energy is flowing in sajha with right attitude. YOu know a human mind is like a parachute and it works when it is open hence being an optimist makes one feel a lighter situation at times. Nevertheless your positive energy immensely comes out of your spiritualism, thus you’re also called Zentara ;) You certainly reveal holistic feeling when you write something with strong faith. About being realistic, you live with the times, dedicate talents and resources to noble purposes and provide service to others. And the most important thing is you ‘start with yourself’. Your mind is a ‘Thought Factory’ filled with great ideas – Good and Bad in people’s perception. Your self-image is intact and active, so you're a realist:)

About me, I am a pressimist who always sees the darker side of things like Oys_Chill. But, one can change by changing:)

Kalanidhi,

Not to make you confuse, I in no way bestowed this thread to Sitara. But, certainly I was showing her the poster that reads, "Attitude is everything in life." You can take full advantage of appending this thread in anyway you want, considering that this is ‘sajha’ wed site.

Vision is the art of seeing things invisible and so, when we think deeper, it gives us a sense what it means to possess a ‘Positive’ or ‘Negative’ attitude in life.

The new concept of positive thinking you dispensed up there says, “If you believe you can get what you want and you really believe in it, then you can get what you want.”

Let me give you just a simple example of oddity if we really apply the above New Age concept of thinking: If you are a farmer and want to have rain today, while you neighbor is having a wedding party hoping not to rain today. Which one do you think will get what they wish? Will God be confused with the prayer raised by both of them??

Rusty ji

You always manage to have kind words for me. And you know it is reciprocal. When words are not enough, I can only smile and say "Thank you!"

:)
