"Don’t swim against the current’ is Koirala’s advice to King

Post Report

KATHMANDU, Nov 26:In his first public address in the capital after the October 4 Royal takeover, President of Nepali Congress party Girija Prasad Koirala today criticized His Majesty the King’s move to sack the democratically-elected government headed by Sher Bahadur Deuba and demanded that the House of Representatives be reinstated to resolve all the problems bedeviling the country..."

This extract is from www.nepalnews.com under the same title. I am getting sick of this hypocrite politicians, especially, with Nepali Congress and Girija. Somehow, Deuba government used to be "unconstitutional" back then (Girija's own words) and suddenly now they are "democratically-elected"... Girija is such a pathetic looser...

"... On my part, I am ready to make any kind of sacrifice to protect democracy and ensure bright future of our youth..."

Again Girija, if you can, please take yourself and your pathetic partners out of Nepal and leave us alone. At least we can see rays of hope, with your sacrifice. I won't guarantee you that it will turn the country around overnight, at least the country can head towards the right direction. Currently, country is in turmoil because of you, your childish political games and your stupid desires. Please, if you are ready to make sacrifice, go out of the country and sacrifice yourself for the bright future of our youth. We will try to forget your misdeeds if you do so.

"..."This is very unfortunate in Nepal that the new king takes away the power granted by the former king," he said, and added, "And if I don’t speak then who (does)?"..."

Yes, Girija, you have spoken enough... and we don't want to hear your poisonous words anymore. You have caused enough damage by speaking for last 12 years. The only way you can help our country now is by keeping quiet and getting out of the country ASAP.

As if he was not swimming against the tide for the better part of the last 12 years he and his goons were in power.
taha cha Posted on 28-Nov-02 04:38 PM

This idiot is saying to the king give me the power or I will take over your power... What a loser...
acharya Posted on 28-Nov-02 06:21 PM

I wonder whom we are supporting here, Raja, or Girija?

Is it one of those ironies in life?

I am sick and tired of Girija and his comedy club. At least we should give our raja one chance. Seems like he is in the right direction and working on building the infrastructure of the country.

Hey! The light at the end of the tunnel is just another train. We should get rid of all these Girija, Deuba, Bhattrai etc once and for all. They have proved time and again they neither have the ablity nor the desire to govern the country. I see the King's move as a positive one in every way I look. for all I care, even he puts the country under a military rule. That should be an option.
