Kalanki, were you trying to remind everyone that it was a Thanksgiving day special?
Please raise your hand if you have been tired( annoyed !!) of using the words "Thanks", "sorry" more than 20 times a day here in the US although you tried really hard not to get used to those kind of fake sense of formalities.
If Thanksgiving day, why not an Apologizing day ( Sorrying day!! ) too ?

I am not reminding anyone of anything (remember I am born dummie, and noone takes me seriously....'ting' ":D can you see my close up smile... hehe). I am from kathmandu, kalankisthan, ward no 14, bagmati anchal, kanipur jilla, how would I know about Thanksgiving, Stuffed turkey and gravey, and pumpkin pie? Think about it myaaan, Use it sometime, your kidney ('ting' :D can you see it now?? hehe I use vico bajradanti, laal dantamanjan?).
By the way, I just felt like thanking everyone, I was boozed, and you know how some people go emotional when they are boozed up. ... and i started writing, and writing, and thats it, and whatta coincidence?... I posted my thank you note right in the day of thanks giving. Now thats what I call Coincidence. Can you hear me now???
