Take a look at the sajha poll. It says 70 % of us come from the far western region in Nepal and only 24 % from the central region. Now how likely is that? I have always founding something odd with the polls on sajha. Most of the times, the poll questions don't make sense. This time, the results are just not credible. Paschim tira bata sajha ma doolne haru ta *booth capturing* garna khappis chhan jasto chha. Huda huda aba sajhapur bata pani nispakshya nirvachan ko apekchha rahena.

hey baball.. I was just gonna start a thread on this..cause it really did piss me off....how can 70% of the sajhaites be from FARRRRRRRRRRR WESTTTTTTTTTTTT and be in america.. haha! i was jus wondering how they applied..how thye filled in their application and how they got their counselling.. okies okies! i am not trying to disparage anyone saying that ppl from far west are not as brilliant..infact they must be much more brilliant..but WHAT ON EARTH ARE THEY TRYING TO PROVE???????????????????????????? because their forefathers are from far west..common gimme a friggin break............where did u grow up? where did u get yor education? where on FRIGGINg did u get an idea of coming to US? are u still from far west?? well if that's the case..i am from ilam bajaar, and i am from bajura, and i am from jomsom ;) but i'd rather still stick with handigaon :) yep..........handigaon is the place to be! :) jus a thought.......influenced by TRIkAL's AMRIT JALL..don't take it otherwise re kya ajha last ma ;) ! oys no pun intended! but i don't FISH FOR SYmPATHY :)

Looks like a crook came to sajha and played with the options and ate all the cookies and manipulated sajha polls... :) (don't look at me with your suspicious eyes, guys, I am from Central Nepal... kathmandu is central, is it not?)

Someone has deliberately sabotaged a genuine inquiry. This calls for an investigation from the webmaster. We have the right to know.

Its rigged..Sajha is not to blame for it though. What are you supposed to do when some Idle Moron goes from one computer lab of their school to another voting as many a times as they want. San alone cannot be keeping track of these descrepencies all the time(mind you he has a full time job and a life). I would not take those polls too seriously if I were you.

I have noticed too that the sajha poll gets sabotaged all the time. Due to this I am thinking of modifying the current sajha poll so that only registered users can vote. That should probably take care of it - to some extent.

The poll should also have a disclaimer that it is not a representative sample and that there is a self-selection bias problem. Only those who tend to come on the chatline are the ones who vote. Thus it is not reflective of the Nepali population in general. Using the CNN's disclaimer as a guideline: This Sajha poll is not scientific and reflects the opinions of only those chat users who have chosen to participate in Kurakani. The results cannot be assumed to represent the opinions of Internet users in general, nor the Nepali public as a whole. The Shaja is not responsible for content, interpretation or the opinions expressed therein.
