While our Main Home Run Batters are busy with their Biz. Nepe: in Publication of collection of Muktak Written long time back, Ashu: in the search of B-ride, Paschim in the search GF whom he wish to turn to HW. Biswo busy in Exams ..., lets keep on playing, make our fans engaged in reading our lousy postings as a cost of surfing Sajhapur.

Well, I am neither a main home run batter who comes last and hits the ball and makes easy home run of 4 .... in one strike. I am once in blue monn home run maker, so I am just making try and hit. ... In this thread, I am trying to find some clues what should I do and what I should not do? "I" need not this HG alone, it can be any reader.

My first Should not Do, suggestion in Nepal is:

1. Never write "teen hazar rupiya " in Bank checks ?
Why ? as you know we have to write "teen hazar" in words too, not only in numbers. Thus, the "teen" in Nepali can be changed to "teesh", and if you add one more zero by slidding it somewhere in those three consecutive zeros, the malecious (spelling?) bank employees can with draw 30,000 rupees very easily. Well, you will never notice it if you are not strictly ......... It happens usually when you work as a boss and your accountant is evil guy, as you know he even does not need to bank personnel... So, you might be jailed for paisa hinamina ....

Kasto lagyo ? Mero suggestion. Do you have some enlightening suggestions. It can be as simple as "road cross garda zebra bata matra garnu, ani hariyo baleko bela matra garnu". I remember, 9years back, I was leading two south asian new students to city office, and I was explaing them the pedestrain signals which is quite new to south asians and while I was waiting for the green signals, the Indian student walked very fast and crossed, and I was asking him to wait wait .... He did not care... and replied "I am not a kid, .........". Well, that was a great shock to me. He was behaving like Crocodile Dundee... I means rules and manners are so different and if we were unaware, its very hard to adjust for us the "un-ruly" south asian... while for "ruly" peoples from west or japan have same kind of shock when they enter to Nepal or India......

Once I was going to KTM from Pokhara, I went to check in. One Indian Biz. guy came and went to counter and asked for early check in and he left,... my self turned to "semi-ruly" was in que behind some westerners, I was surprised and we were complaining ,,, but the indian guy did not listen he finished his job and left the scene. Then, one westerner came, and tried to go ahead, "malai ta sahi nasaknu bho" and I asked him to line up, kya danak diyo ba malai ta tyasko sathile "we are not acoustomed to Nepalese habit, we were lining up for long time". Tyo harami indai ko rish hami nepali lai pokhyo ni ta saaf sanga, ... kya jhoor bho ke. Aba maile ke Bhanne? "RULY" world ra "unRuly" world ma ma po sandwiched bhayeni ta. ... Half knowledge is dangerous thing... RULY lai UNRULY bhais bhanda tyo UNRULY ko bathan ko manche malai tyasari napele kasalai pelos, usko tyo rish kati din dekhi pilshiraheko thiyo hola, such that he generalized it as "Nepalese Habit".....

K Garne, bholi palta Kathmandu Puge Pachi ta kyaa Kathamandu ko manche ta Sadak ko bicha ma hidera jatra, bato chhodne hoina... taxi driver le horn bajayeko chha chha... tyo asan ko sadhe jastai .... Afu le japan ma 7 barsha gadi chalaiyo hafta ek choti pani horne press garnu parcha ki pardaina, tyaha ta rock n roll jasto po chha ta. Ani mero ek jana uncle japan aunu bhako thiyo last year, he was asking me sometime horn lagaye hunna ra, ... he said "mero yati dherai patience nai hunna... aba tyo nepal ma ta meter meter ma horn launu parcha ...." .... Kya sabhya hai yaha ka drivers ... especially, when he watched how pedestrains are respected by letting them /cross the road ... Nepal ma yasto kahile hune hola? Maile bhane, "kaka, yasto hune wala chhaina nepal ma, kahile pani.... yo ta bachhai dekhi sikne sikaune kura rahechha.... Malai pani kahile kahi ta jhok chalcha yo pedestrain ko taal dekhera ... ma wait gariraheko dekhda pani uniharu walking speed ma ek rati chaddho dhilo chhaina .... same speed as in safe pedestrain .... Tara k garne .. sable garchan ... ani afoo pani garnu paryo ni... Nepal ma gako bela Zebra crossing khojyo bhane paudaina ...."

When My son went to Nepal for the first time after he came here and attended Japanese school. He was taught in the school to cross roads in zebra crossing and raise hand while crossing the road .... When we reached to Nepal, he was trying to find zebra crossing .... no where .... the very first shock to him. Zebra crossing nai nabhai kasari sakne hola Nepal ko kids haru le? Then, he had an undersanding that when there is no zebra crossing nearby, then raise your hand and cross the road... Well, he tried to copy it in Nepal, he was insisting me that it was told by his teacher in the school.I was telling him, "its not Japan, its Hamro Nepal", here Japanese rule does not work... here we have a very interesting rule "NO RULE", how much he grasped from this "our nepali rule in road is NO-RULE....Yaha tyasta standard rule le kaam gardainan hera babu, harek byakti byakti herera usko chal dhal herea afno harek movement ko strategy tayar garne ho and afoo lai afaile kasari bachaune bhanera bichar garnu parcha .... " .... That was terrible lesson to him ........

Please, list your experiences on should do and should not do?
