Hello everyone,
I've been busy for the past few weeks and will be for the next few more with the end of semester crunch time.
In the meantime, just wanted to post a thread inquiring if anyone working at the UN in NYC is also writing at sajha. I will be in NYC over winter break and just wanted to get together with some people who are working at the UN in the social science field. Although I do know some of the uncles there, I thought that perhaps someone my age would be good to talk to about experiences working there. I will either be at the NYC or Geneva UN this summer, therefore wanted to have a feel for it before venturing to work there.

There are quite a few young Nepali men (pardon me, ladies, I am do not know if there are any women) working at the UN, but I believe all of them are in IT, not social sciences. I also know of one person who works there as a journalist, and is also a regular poster at Sajha--I will let him know of your request if he has not noticed it yet. :)
