I was just wondering if somebody could post some article about the recent economic policy of Nepal.Any of following topics would work: 1.Pegging the currency(our quasi-IC dependent rupee is source of shame to us lot of times).I would love to see if it can be independent,or if it could be pegged to Yuan(which is much stronger these days) or dollar. 2. The influence of socialist school of thoughts in shaping economic policy of present government.I heard the privatization process is in stasis. Surely past privatizations were sham, and obnoxious peculation of national property by NC, the process in itself was a courageous step in Nepal where majority of population still embrace shabboleath of socialism. 3.Urban planning fiasco of Kathmandu. Just wondering if somebody could recapture articles from some symposium, or some newspaper,or from anywhere to post here. That would be great stuff to learn about. Biswo.
