Robert Frostji, I can't help being SO damn attracted to your name! :) My favorite poem, as was J.L. Nehru's, is the one written by someone who inspired your sajha identity! "Stopping by woods on a snowy evening." The lines where Nehru's and my love for R.Frost lie: The woods are lovely, dark, and deep, But I have promises to keep, And miles to go before I sleep. And miles to go before I sleep. And your poem is certainly beautiful as well. Hard_ji, Excellent poem! And a query that has lingered in the human mind from eons gone by and eons to come! In peace.

Like the rising of a full moon, chasing twilight shadows away You bathe me in your soft glow. My stream of life within swells, I am purged, refreshed, my weakness I confess without shame. Wear not my emotions, for they be far too complex; hold not the snow in your hands, for they may seep through your fingers; catch not my spirit, for the elusive cannot be contained. But I will walk with you, to the land of the midnight sun; in the plays of light and shadow, through the diverging wooded path, though harsh, unrelenting it may be; But I cannot promise you my future, For it does not belong to me!

Kalanidhi ji Passionate poetries, you write. Romance and passion, cosumed in the blaze; kindle all that was lost, devour and incinerate; but when the ardence is gone, and the shadows are chased, when the moon wanes, and the frigid air heralds in the winter, Can you tolerate, the lull after the acrimonous hurricane? I have been reading all of your poems... really exquisite!

There is no deception in my words, no barbs in my ways; I tell you what I have told many, only truths never a lie. I shy away from the world, and from prying eyes; my life is an open secret, not tinged with feminine wiles. My path but pre-charted; My birth was never mine, fallen, yet picked up, and pinned upto the sky; I have never asked for more, but to hold your hand in mine; I have promised not more, than to give my touch benign. And yet you have blamed me, accused me of gore; of promises unfulfilled and more; of foulplay and deceit, while my tears brim over to my feet; and yet, out of vengeance, you claim me with my future, How can I entrust you, What belongs NOT to me, BUT to the house of death?

Of the wide world I stand alone, and think Till love and fame to nothingness do sink, one word touch upon my heart everytime, I ask you, to love thee, have I committed crime? Think that I may never live tomorrow, as my life is filled with gloom and sorrow, the hope I had to love thee lonely, was just a mere dream, I will think, only!! you have your tears brim over to feet, it will dry, when the two hearts meet, the house of death can take you away, but till that happens, please don't stray!!

Be not deranged by a delusion,

Torture not your dreams,
neither your waking hours;
Seek not fleeting moments,
of dreams, desires, and demons.
I take refuge in isolation,
much solace in solitude;
a butterfly's life's too tragic,
too brief to titilate a serene mind's magic.

ardour has no endurance,
neither, endearment steam.
Snowdays still aplenty :)
Winter still around,
Wishing Spring is wishful,
when flowers still aground!
How untimely, your blossoming,
metamorphing into grief,
spreading wings to blizzard,
emaciating life so brief.
Your desolation merges with ether,
your laments dissipate in space,
why wish upon a distant sky?
when Gaia is brimmed with grace!

stop not at each snowflake,
Scan not the desolate sky!
Hibernation's still in session,

If flowers are grounded,

The season's taking shape,
frosty, cold and freezing ice;
ginger tea in warm hands,
my countenance a glowing smile.
A love of reading and wordplay,
creative semantics and metaphor,
emotive words, picturesque depictions,
your words cause my spirits soar.
Allow me to acknowledge,
The pleasure's surely mine;
you've bestowed much joy,
your words, poetry refined!
:)
Thank you ye hajur..... ! I have enjoyed you tremendously, o metaphoric writer. Your exquisite display of your love for nature reflects my own passion for the natural! The sound of silence as I walk through the snowy woods is not deafening; rather a serene, calm decends upon my being. The pairs of cardinals as they titter in the snow, completes the picture of an unadulterated, uncontaminated moment of sheer pleasure and jubiliance. Surely, at this display of magnificence, one cannot help but forgive Persephene's spontaneous seduction by the wintry wonderland of Hade's freezing underworld!
I wish you: Season's Greetings and Reiki energy!

To The Spirit of Thee..... Just with a finger, I trace the space, engrave a name,in thin air, with both hands, outstretched, so eager, I sculpt your form,and give it shape. my eyes seek with minute care, the details of your face, the soft breath inhales, your very essence, gently receiving your grace. With quivering lips, a slanted smile, I speak but not a word. My silence is like the distance, a connection through the void. In the distance, I hear soft music, haunting notes of melodious voices. of dances in embrace, and whispered words, distance a mere detail. I'm falling, freefalling a ride through thin air, my cool rational, reason, and logic, a chaotic mess, this season. I dare not , define your form, nor call you by your name, I hold my breath, hear your voice, longing for your presence. No past, no future, I live but for the moment, no labels, no promises, no terms of endearment. Just one question, To the Spirit of thee: Will you survive my Silence, If I survive this Insanity???

Just a butterfly? Question not the devotion, snow scooped, bagged leaves, eyes blend, no dicrimination Oh one who knows the woods, discriminate not God's creatures! what queries you make, tinged, shades of emotions. Grief, anguish, light versus shadow, all but an emotion. choose one, not the other, impoverish lore of living! allow me a life, tinged of all colours, shaded by deadly darks, crowded with eloquent silence, allow me this outlier, placed slightly off-centric, nodoubt, a deviation from the norms! :)

Yes, Alone and lonely, two not the same, but one grieves misery, other the pain! A small little butterfly, in pain and anguish, is well enough to portray, my state of distress! for its you your ways, the cause of throe, why did you stray? when I already bow! Grief and anguish, why choose one? a stitch in my side, O' zennist one! Both are the same, for a man ambushed, in pain and suffer, when his love so crushed! silence and dark my life, you think its a lie? deviation from norms? it never was my!

Launa Lau Frost ji.... I will send my positive energy to help you survive the darkness! Will send you Reiki thoughts, to ward off the pain, from ashes to ashes, dust to dust, you shall rise like the Phoenix again! Just a note of wisdom: don't fall for a distant,cruel, illusion! hehehe! :P

........................... ............................. No past, no future, I live but for the moment, no labels, no promises, no terms of endearment. Just one question, To the Spirit of thee: Will you survive my Silence, If I survive this Insanity???> This poem was/is inspired by someone very dear and beloved to me.... and in my lyrical haste and poetic zen, :) floated around without acknowledging the cherished presence!

Positive and Reiki thoughts, why to a doomed? no weight no worth, all remain gloomed!!!! inert and tortured, I am weary and alone!!! I swerve right and left, to the memories that shone!!! bright in the sky, for a glimmer of hope, alone and lonely again, poor little dove!!!!!!!! extended its wings, away from this earth, here anything that lies, is all but dearth! of love that he wished, so badly to be his, flew his heart out, finally to decease!!!! and that sadly ends, the story of a dove, mean and cruel, obscured by his love! Eventhough he is dead, he remains as a symbol, to spread peace and love, to a solitary sole!!! "I hang my head in shame, and start to cry, for the path I took, I donot deserve to die"!! Cried little dove, inflicting pain and suffering, the road he took gave him distress, love never was an offering!!!!!!!

shhhhhhh! Say the trees, weep not at my feet; salty water, I don't need. Hush shhhh! Says the cloud, moistion not my air, I am saturated, by your despair. Stop!!!!!! Say the flowers, Note t'is Spring, weep not, enjoy fragrance the flowers bring. Hark! cries the sparrow, a new year is born, loiter not, fritter not, dejected, forlorn. Halt! whispers Aranyani, Goddess of the woods beyond, seek not misery, the doves heed not your mourn. Cease! says reason, so Narcissus-tic your reaction, is love returned, when image is a mere reflection? Think! says logic, a time for rebirth, chose not desolation of your own accord. Love, is never an offering, neither a sacrifice; pleasures lie in arts of giving, Pain lies in lulls before receiving! Oh! what love did you chose, of instant gratification, incoherent, illogical, unrequited emotions? The star, aloof, cool and distant; guiding, shining, lighting your way, naive, gullible are you...love's labour astray????

Hello all, Geez, all this exam prep has got me a headache! A poem in the meantime. :) I looked but did not see The deep wound that time Healer though it may be Cut across those tattered clothes That uncover you--and mock me. I heard but did not heed The resounding voice Of human need Muffled pleas that built into a crescendo Dissipating like wind through a hollow reed. I touched but did not feel The waning pulse in your hand My touch, you said, your wounds heal But the weight of nameless things Had turned my heart into steel. I kissed but shed no tears On those eyes that closed forever Your brows that bore the weight of years Were placid yet unquiet Even in death you spoke your fears. But I had so many things left unsaid And so many deaths left undead. In peace.

SIMPLE GIRL, HONEST OPINION it was the worst poem I've ever heard. It loses its grip every second line. It was worst than mine, and I am not a poet. Scribbling few lines with the help of few tounge twisting words is not poem. You write poems, and you probably know about it. Don't mind though, Everyone in sajha is losing his/her grip anyway. Sitara is stuck to two threads. Seems like she is working on the poem factory. Ashu is on neverending vacation. Paschim is nowhere in sight. MP is lost. Deep's latest one sucks. Oys's memory lane is the only hope that we have, that came from him in 6 months. Rusty is rusted. Hahoo is busy procaiming himself #1. Paramendar is busy with the Aussie girl he is reluctant to call her his GF. NK is busy with kids, Dilasha is somewhere near Ashu. Jame bonds turned rebel. Jira, kalankisthan, Krishna are busy figuring out the chords. Suna only cares about "malai sodha" thread. Trikal lost his vision for the future. AnepaliKT turned American. Chipledhunga has slipped already. Soliel doesn't wanna finish his story, Dumbass is there but he is not really there. Biswo is lost, Biruwa finds sajha cheap these days, Robert Frost is busy staring at stars... and the list is endless. I don't wonder if you also lost your grip. EVEN Deshbhakta bhattarai is busy LEARNING HINDI. What the hell is wrong with these guys?

Hahahaha! Freekji, Thanks so much for your opinion. I know that poem of mine really sucked. I just scribbled it. My usual exam time JPT. :) But hey, your analysis of sajhaites is really brilliant! The year end slump (??) or plain boredom has slowly snuck into the zest that made sajha and ruined it. TS Eliot wrote in his "Hollow Men": This is the way the world ends This is the way the world ends Not with a bang but a whimper. Your analysis is definitely a wake up call! I hope Eliot's lines do not foretell the future of sajhaland! In peace.

God, FREEK, I like your analysis about so called Famous Sajhaiites and not so called Famous Sajhaiites. Hmmm! What happened? It has become 'leaderless' (ideal replica of Nepali politics - no binding figure). Everyone lost their charm, ideas, innovations. Everyone must be thinking 'been there done that'. Or may be everyone is hybernating to come back with a big bang! Let us keep hoping...... - iti

Logically Freek has to be re-incarnation of one of the Famous Sajhaiites of recent past!!!!! Born on December 5th, 2002. 55 Postings in 10 days!!!! Recently there have been flurry of re-incarnation of Sajha characters with so diversified names that, it is hard to keep track of. Don't you think FREEKji that, this could be the very reason that most of the old Sajhaites are hybernating? - iti

my mourn is beneath me, the love left so apart, an instance was a dove, for my loud cries for love!! A limit for cruelty, a boundary for coercion, you have crossed everything, with your indespensable remarks! with a glimmer of hope, I came from the woods, for a love that I thought was mine, beyond the stars that shine!! for I had restrained, that stars are static, a stone-hearted one, as I look through the attic!! A bright blue primma, twinkled seperate from the rest, giving lumious light, there it is! that ends my quest! It was one of those ones, when you look from distance, it shines bright and lovely, when you go near, it BURNS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I mourn through the darkness, that hit me so hard, I brim my tears, as my love so apart!! Can you differentiate?? a story of dove, the quest of love, that I had taken from the woods? for I had stranted for a moment, from illusions and insanity, I had restrained myself, from the journey that I had taken, I was just a stranger, Stopping by the woods on a snowy evening, for I had promises to keep, and miles to go before I sleep, and miles to go before I sleep!!!!!!!!

Oh stranger of the woods, T'was a song of empathy I sang, not the song of a siren; t'was a poem of compassion, not a melody of passion! my whispers, mingled with the breeze, lyrics soaked in the rain; music moaned with the hurricane, tears absorbed by the terrain. What crime have I committed, for having felt your pain; what abomination, is my sympathy my bane? I'm the spirit of the woods, uncontained by dense trees, I've watched your weary travels, your resolutions painfully unravel. Stray not from your promises, divert not your path; betray not the one waiting, break not a gentle heart. She'll be at her doorstep, watching the dreary skies; counting seconds, waiting hours, unknowing, you count the stars!!!!

Prem Charo ji "My heart's a flutter, my brain's numb with blames, I can't think straight, your images still in silver frames!" You can acknowledge your pain, your tears stopped their flow; You cannot dwell in happenings, Just let it go! let it go! let it go! I wish you well! :)
