Okay,
I have this thought in my mind for quite sometime. Are we living in the world of lies -- that is created by these analyzers, and scientists -- who come up with some conclusion and we grasp it, as if there is no tomorrow.
Right after the 9/11, there was debate and speculation, opinion, analyzation on each and every Television channel on what could have happened in that plane, and who could have done that. Okay its not that bad believing who could have done that, but how can we believe on the theory they provided on what could have happend inside that plane, that day? There are no eyewitness -- there are nothing that would prove that theory.
what about DC shooting case? Those who watched it on the televison. Cops were desperately searching for the shooter, and there were these groups of analyzers, who analyze the situation in the television. Whatever they said were believable. All of the different theories they provided were right on the money. All of those advisors had different opinions. Yet, they sounded so credible that some of them came up with the book and people bought it as a holiday gift.
Now everyone knows the reality about that shooting case. Now they know who had done that, and why they did that. Now if we go back to the time, when cops were still desperate to find the culprit, and those analyzers were analyzing the situation. How much their idea contradicts with the reality.
My whole point is, Isn't history full of lies? History is just the idea... "this could have happened"... but something else could have happend, and we believed the idea provided by some analyzers and we graspd it like a child. What about autobiography? isnt it full of lies -- there is a mask in autobiography. Why do we have to believe that speed of light is almost 3E8 m per second. Every fictional writings are LIES, what about most of the NON FICTIONAL's, which were supposed to be truth but nothing but the truth. They say, the most important thing in this world is Faith, but how could i have faith in something that is full of Lies?

I think all these books are JPT too.....tyasaile i am thinking of quitting books re kya ;) eheh...aaja dekhin finals sidya ho bro? eheh khub laamo laamo posting afai baata ;)

oys, final no sidhdhing yaar... still got 2 more to go kyaa.. next week cha!!!
Its just that snow days and thursdays put me down.

What we see is what we perceive re...so, if each individual is bound to have varying perceptions, then what we see is not real. Real is what we perceive, and what we perceive is what we believe. Therefore, there is no such thing as reality...it's all a farce...things exist only because we believe they exist...hyaaaaaaaaa...raat bhari ko drive pachhi bharkhar uthya bela ke yo tanta aai parya hola? prem..what is TRUTH? what is FACT? Do we know?. Our existence..is it a lie? If we think too deeply into this, our society will label us insane and doorways to a mental institute will open..hmmm...wanna meet me there in like 2 weeks?

Seems like you are confusing a lot of different aspect of living as one big issue and came up with one simplified explanation, "These are all lies" to give your mind some peace. I have taken this great task to unburdern your mind some of these issues that are vexing/preplexing you. Ahem!
Let's take the first paragraph of your posting. You are mixing scientists, analysists, and professional TV talking-heads in one big cauldron and making one thick smooth soup. It appears to me more than anything else, you are thinking of TV personalities doing a 'gab fes' when you thought everything was nothing but a lie. This suspicion of mine came to be true when I read your next paragraph. You continued on, " Right after the 9/11, there was debate and speculation.... Television channel....."
If you think you have to watch TV to understand/comprehend the "chaos" that surround us and find out about the truth then I would have to say my dear, you are not going about the right direction. The medium you are choosing is a *wrong* one. TV demands instantenous analysis, results, explanation that can be said in 3 minutes or less. They have to package and sell it to viewers like you who are glued to their TV set as a drama is unfolding. The "news" or "analysis" have to be interesting and fun and have to be delivered by photogenic faces - not counting Greta Van Susten even with her thousand dollars plastic surgery!
About those scientists you talk about. If you pose a question to a scientist why so and so happens she will tell you what she knows based on her knowledge. She will try to explain the cause and effect and so on... Then the talking heads will come back with their great make up to vomit these things to/at you to fit in those precious minutes they have allocated to. Viewers like you who has nothing better to do than watch TV to know what is going on around you will suck it up. They flip channel after channel, talking head after tlaking heads, graphs after graphs and leave totally confused, frustrated and lethargic! To know more you flip on again and again. Since this is the source you rely upon and reach out to when something "unexplainable" happens as 9/11, as DC sniper case you take all those explanation as a 'dhurbya satya' of the moment. Those psychoanalysts, scientists, forsenic scientists who appear on TV have so few raw data and so little time to come up with a coherent theory, I am amazed they can talk so much that they hardly know anything about.
AND, THEN you go on talking about fictional writers. What does the word fiction tell you? Make believe, right? If the meaning of the word warns you "not true" then what is your gripe/confusion about?
When you have questions about life, living, loving, murdering, attacking and put everything in one humongous pot and cooked it up and came up with a simple explanation as "Lies", then my dear Prempujari life indeed will be chaotic and unbearable and nothing but lies. Indeed.

Like I said earlier... Blame it on my coffee... That took me so long to wake me up, that I didn't realize I was jotting down the words that didn't make sense when i was finally awake. (You know how SOME people are, when they wake up in the morning -- everything pisses them off.)
But I am really happy that you wrote, that my dumb article became catalyst to make you go beyond "one liners" that youve been doing lately. It's always delight to read the STUFFS you write. I agree with you on whatever you wrote (AND ITS NOT ASS KISSING). You know, The things I wrote were exactly what I see from my perspective -- and my BHEDO buddhi thinks whatever I see is right -- Until someone ,like you, shows me the different side of the same thing. I think it is really helpful to change my perspective... :)
You see, I don't mind calling myself an unintelligent -- and like everyone else, I want to be an intelligent, think about things -- analyze, change my perspective. And these kind of remarks really open up a brand new door inside my 700 MB brain :).

Any time my dear, any time. I am sorry my response was not as clear as I intented it to be but for now you seem to be satisfied....
... and about regretting not taking those 'Critical Thinking' classes, you have a whole life ahead of you, annd bookstores every corner of your street. Why not take advantage of those? And, don't forget the importance of meditation as in chintan, manan.
Last, turn off that TV for godess' sake!
