I dont want you to bring me anything, au contraire, I'd ask that you have a go at the following:
- several rounds of tongba @ boudha. After the second gourd, the passing beauties will seem to have even rosier cheeks, the sauni's gold tooth will flash brighter than the sun so dark shades recommended.
- momo @ kalikasthan, a few plates should serve to remind you just why pizza can't hold a candle to the real thing
- a lunch/dinner at the Rice N Bowl in Tripureswore and another one at the chinese restaurant in Lazimpat above the blue bird dept. store, contingent on them still being in business.
- sekuwa on the roadside near the bhanshar bibhag godown no 2. I dunno if that particular operation is still in existense though, been a while since I was there.
If you would go on a walkabout in Bhakatapur's durbar square, let your footsteps wander over broken flagstones where our ancestors may have trod. Listen to the the laughter of children, the sounds of ancients toungues resonating off ancient palace walls, for these our ears miss so.
Perhaps as your eyes sweep across the fields of winter wheat, should you spy an ancient returning from his fields, remember that moment for us, we long for such a sight.
Take in a sunset at kakani from the site of the Thai crash victims' memorial. Breathe in the fresh air and gaze at the abode of the Gods at sunset for me will you ? As the gold turns to crimson and fades across those majestic heights, let the spririts of the mighty mountians know that we are all safe here, but our souls reside firmly in their midst.

I write the above lines as I brim with tears. Why doesn't things happen the way we want them to? Why do we have to be obliged to do where the fate takes us?? Some things are just not on our hands and eventhough we want everything and eveybody thats dearest to us, be near, they will not be and we have to accept the reality of bitter truth. The mirage we see in our life, is totally different from the Real World. But having said that I do have met some persons,, whom I take into account on being from the Globalized real world era, who have really said something that meant a lot to me.
My maiju gave birth to twins (brother and sister) in bhai tika ko din. Would you believe that?? A bhai tika ko din ma twins that too brother and sister. I was like, I have never seen anything like this. But later on, an unfortunate fate, took the sister away from the brother. The only satisfying thing is that the son is in a good health.
So, I think, forgetting about fate for sometime, if we do believe that we can do it, we really can. Belief is the main thing and beyond that, its history.
I urge everyone to respite for a moment and give thoughts to the proposition.
