Extra extra...read all about it..... Former Minister Wagle charged The Commission for the Investigation of the Abuse of Authority Tuesday (CIAA) formally filed corruption charges against former minister Chiranjivi Wagle at a special Kathmandu Court for amassing more than Rs.32.9 million in accounted wealth, Court and CIAA sources said. The charges were filed after a month-long investigation under remand. The CIAA says Wagle misused his authority as minister over the last 12 years to amass property disproportionate to his income and hid the wealth in the name of his family. Wagle said the CIAA charges were biased and unfounded. "The charges are framed and to discredit the multi-party system," Wagle told reporters at the court premises. The Asian Development Bank (ADB) Tuesday welcomed investigations into corruption charges against politicians and officials at a news press conference. nepalnews.com br Dec.17 Oh sunny day......oh happy day.......
