I was talking with Mathew yesterday. He is a very interesting fellow who gives his full ideas on any topics. Always a pleasure to talk with and if not in room seen roaming around chicks floors. I was passing my time at my work desk when he suddenly showed up and was like, "where were you moron??" "I was at work, d** head", I replied with some purpose. He was mad at me for not showing up at the right time, for he had asked me to go to First Street with him. I told him I had to get back to work. If in case it gets late, Dan(the asst. director) will be pissed up. So I hadn't showed up.

After a little apology from me, he settled down. We shared some talks for a while. He was telling me about the pretty girl he met and how beautiful she was, when suddenly he saw a piece of paper that I had hidden from him. He was like, "What the heck is that?" I told him I am not going to show him but Mathew, he knew it was something special so he really did insist. He begged for it, he did whatever possible to snatch that little paper from me. Then with his horrendous tone, started reading like a small kid.

He read:

I gazed upon the star...
I appraoched it with vigor...
I neared it....
I loved it....
I cared for it....
I gave my life....
I ruined everything for it...
I was innocent...
I did nothing wrong...
I had a purpose..
I lived on it...
I realized now...
I never should have fallen in love..
I never should have dropped my tears..
I was wrong...
I was played...
I was crushed...badly...

I had written that while working. And I was laughing out loud. But Matt, he has been my good friend for a long time knew, immediately knew that it was not just a piece of paper but my heart roared in it. He knew there was something wrong and he asked me what was wrong. I still was not ready to express myself on Matt. So I just told him, there is nothing wrong and I am all fine. I just wrote it. A good observer as he is, he knew that I didn't wanted to tell him, so he didn't bother asking me, but he had gazed my eyes for a long time to know the answer.

Frost

At the risk of sounding redundant, I want to say this again:

You write well.... you emote well and because you are a metaphoric writer, you have the power to paint pictures with picturesque words!

I am truly moved and impressed! :)

Kalanidhi,
I love this Aruna Lama song:

Sitara,
What difference does it make????
I asked to be somebody's love, I wasn't.
I intended to be somebody's life, I wasn't.
Adios Darling!

Goodbye to you too..wish you all the best!
As always.... !

The difference is: assuming....that which is not and ignoring.... that which is!
The difference is: when correspondence don't match postings!
The difference is: writing poetry for poetry's sake and emoting for the moment!

Sitara,
That sign was ;( blink eye, if you will, dear friend.....! meaning, i was just kidding...I am lost in my love who is so far away......that is why i am so sad!!!!!!!!

it wasn't intended for you..if you think that way...so relax!!!!!!!!!!.
SITARA Posted on 23-Dec-02 07:19 AM

Dirk ji

Thank you!

You are in my thoughts....when I light the Diya on New Year's Eve!

And in the memory of Osiris,
Isis thrives on myths,
Lamenting, she searches for remnants of her lover!

Definitely, a new beginning! :)
SITARA Posted on 23-Dec-02 07:27 AM

Frost, my friend,

Miles and miles to go
Before you stray,
And miles and miles to go
Before you stray!!!

:P

RELAXED! whew!!!!!!!!

hehehe!
vivid Posted on 23-Dec-02 08:12 AM

To Sitara & Frost ji,

I saw the tides rising,
I saw the tides falling,
Finally, saw the tides residing,
Into a calmness,
Miles and miles beyond the horizon!

Relax!
Soleil Posted on 23-Dec-02 08:57 AM

hmmmm

If the good times are all gone..
then I am bound for moving on
I'll look for you if I'm ever back this way... :)
(excerpts from Neil Young's Four Strong Winds)

P/s: vivid, sitting on the dock of the bay watching the tides roll away? sitting on the dock of the bay and wasting time? hehehhehehhe :P
SITARA Posted on 23-Dec-02 09:06 AM

Wa Wa vivid!

And ooooooh my erratic pulse!
Stop my beating heart!
If I had a penny for every,
poem that was written,
if I had a pebble for every,
wish cast upon the distant star!

I would be the Queen of Sheeba.....with the Library of Alexandria for her coffers!!!!!!!

Now, would you call it wishful thinking or wishing unthinking????????

hehe!
vivid Posted on 23-Dec-02 09:54 AM

Soleil ji,

Good times,
Embossed within,
Never will fade,
Do go on moving,
Creating ripples,
On thy way,
Stagnation!
High cost to pay.

Savoring the softness of the breeze, creation of the rising and falling tides, silently will give you voluminous pleasure, the pleasure you can never measure!
Try it! heh heh
vivid Posted on 23-Dec-02 10:15 AM

Sitara ji,

I do admire,
Twinkles of thy glow,
Though far beyond,
My wishes Ma'am,
Priceless are thy flow,
Emotions afloat,
No pebbles should afflict,
When thy descent from above.
Robert Frost Posted on 23-Dec-02 02:53 PM

Soleil,
another line from the Neil Young's song:

My life is changing in so many ways
I dont know who to trust anymore
There's a shadow running through my days
Like a beggar going from door to door...

Vivid,
I bound for the woods,
where my life remains,
seemigly glorious in eyes,
absolutly immaculate in beauty,
waiting for me,
happily ever after...!!

Sitara, my friend,
What can I say,
All those lines I wrote from emotions,
you called it for the sake of writing??
All those beautiful poetry I played with you,
was an illusion??
an emotions of insanity?????
a boisterous tale???
SITARA Posted on 23-Dec-02 05:49 PM

Vivid ji

Thank you ...

The twinkle that you see is just a glimmer of jest! :) No pebble shall bring me down unless I descend holding the pebble in hand...in search of the thrower! ;)
vivid Posted on 23-Dec-02 06:02 PM

Frost ji,

Speckless a beaut,
Smiling with poise,
Spreading charms,
To pave your day,
An open invitation,
Spilled all the way,
Where you will enter,
Never to return again,
I do wonder,
Where the woods lay?
Wish happiness,
Will always be at bay.

Merry Christmas!
vivid Posted on 23-Dec-02 06:07 PM

Sitara ji,

A reflection in the mirror,
Is all I see,
Never will I throw pebbles,
It will hurt thee!

:)
SITARA Posted on 24-Dec-02 06:49 AM

Vivid ji

Neither am I
a stone's throw away;
neither a bird's flight,
nor a bird's eye away;
I reside in the imaginations,
those susceptible to soaring fascinations!!!

:)
vivid Posted on 24-Dec-02 07:41 AM

Sitara ji,

Whoever,
Wherever,
Inspiration,
That's for sure.

Kalanidhi ji

What is man's only sin?
the Original or
Eve's imposition on him?????

:)
kalanidhi Posted on 04-Jan-03 01:17 AM

_ Sitaraji
Let me clear you what I mean "sin"

Sex is sin,
sin is sex,
sin is forgiven so lets begin,
love is a sensation cause by temptation,
when a guy _____in a girls ______,(Please put the nice words)
to increase the population,
for the next generation.
Do you understand or
do you need a demonstration ?

If you think it is extreme_ _ Sorry, didn't mean to _ _ _ :)

Robert Frost Posted on 04-Jan-03 03:08 AM

Kalanidhi,

Is it Halle Berry's Moster Ball?? ;)

What about a rubber in the backyard? May help prevent overpopulation.

Sir Frost...
Robert Frost Posted on 04-Jan-03 03:14 AM

Sitara,

Eve's imposition??
or is it Eve imposed by Adam's contemptible??
kalanidhi Posted on 10-Jan-03 11:41 PM

Frostji,

With the depth of a bottomless pit
I sink into your eyes.
Through that window I enter a void,
where I wish to be.

Breeze-like kisses on your soft face
my lips secretly wish.
Between the wall and me
there is only you and two heart beats.

Why must a wrong feel like this and,
why do your hands touch beyond skin?

Ecstasy from the nothing,
desire beyond any control.
The want to make you feel
...like a real love,
a reason you were looking for,
...to believe.
