Hi San. Gunaso time. I have four threads in the archives, and about 20 at the site. The total should run to more like 250. Where are the rest?

For real!? That would be such a bummer. I might have to say good bye to Sajha for good if that be the case.

Haarayo means lost due to technical problem.... That might be the case, it's my speculation. Or you threads may be somewhere you can't access without pass codes from San.... By the way, is sajha your own hard drive where you can store all your postings and pull them back in any way you like? I could not.... I had to request San to search for some threads in the archive so that I could set them in my own computer disk... If you have clue, please share with me... Never mind...

Hi Paramendra, As I have written to you personally, the threads of sajha are growing at such a rate that the database needs to be reduced in size every so often. Which means I have to remove older postings to leave space in the database for new postings. I personally keep a copy of the archived database and can forward you copies of your postings, but unfortunately at this point it is not possible to have everything available online without having to purchase additional database solutions. I am keeping my eyes open for possible solutions at this time. Best Regards, San

Hey it would be cool to have all the old thread archived and to be able to visit old therads. San, so why not have "everything available online" and "purchase additional database solutions!" La folks, end your year or begin the new years with one good deed, send a CHEQUE to San the Man so he can make the archives made available online!! :)

additional database solutions don't just fall off the backs of trucks... i'm for pay-per-spew, priced by the word. (san, deduct the fee for this message from surya's last chequeue.)

I am not joking, bitch patrol. Calling someone "cyber-dhoti" just because he is madhesi would entail madhesis (which account 48% nepalese population) to call u with similar unsavoury scorns. And, 89% r hindus in Nepal, so the gods of these lot would be equally offended. Living in US, calling madhesi a "dhoti"; this amply shows the depth of your thinking and attitude of stained mind.

Zubin, I guess you didn't read my posting properly, maybe you have dyslexia or are you blind ? I did not call him a DHOTI, the DHOTI I am refering to is the loincloth(garment) the Madhesi's wear. Remeber Mohan Das Karamchand used to spin the wheel and make his own DHOTI when he was jailed by the English ? Almost 50% of world is Christian and they don't give a shit about your Dhoti(What's your point).
