I am so gonna puke. You are paid for just holding the football for the kicker to kick, and you can't even do that well. Once the snap was bad, we still could've gotten another chance to kick but that moron had to be a Quarterback. Would've should've could've. The position wouldn't have arose if Giants had played a solid 2nd half so I guess we deserved to loose. PremPujari, we still have Jets man, J-E-T-S Jets Jets Jets.

DWI, tell me about it... that freaking final second of the game... all that freaking kicker had to do was kick... If he can not freaking kick, then he shouldn't be paid. I turned off the TV as soon as I knew that Giants coulnt' kick... I agree with you -- if you are paid to kick the ball, then FREAKING kick it... and that freaking jackshit, he couldn't even hold the ball for kicker to kick... SUCKS myaan.. before second half the game was sooo good. After second half, they screwed up bigtime. Jets!! HMMMMMM.....

Go niners... Remember fellas....football is ninety percent mental, and that's what the Giants lacked, the mental strenth. 4rth quarter-When Giants #36 (can't remember who that was) jumped on Owens after a late hit after the attempted 2 point conversion interception was probably the biggest mistake. They gave up 15 yard penalty and the possesion of the ball just like that...they had gotten the same penalty just 30 seconds ago, if it hadn't been for that, niner's touch down would've been disqualified. Last minute field goal-Well the kicker couldn't do a damn thing, he's paid to kick the ball only if the ball is in place. Of course it was a bad snap,(nervous snapper?) and he made the right decision to run with the ball and play quarter back. And guess what....he almost made it too. They even got the pass interference call which would have put them in one yard line only if the dude who was interfered was qualified to be in the receiving end. (was it becoz he was a line backer?) But anyways...4rth quarter was a total thriller. NY lacked discipline. And they focused more on physical retaliation rather than winning the game which cost them something they won't forget for a long time. Honest guys...I had supported Niners all along, and its nice to come out victorious.

DWI, I don't recall a foul play on Niner's part on the last minute field goal (except for the pass interference which didn't matter). Was there another one too? ...If there wasn't, then the guy who played quarter back still made the right decision...he just passed it to a wrong place ...eh? I mean ...what other choices did he have?

Vision, No, the guy who played the Quarter Back, i.e. the snapper, should have spiked the ball. Since it was 3rd Down, he could have simply thrown the ball in the ground (spiking) so that it would be like incomplete. However when you spike, the game clock will be stopped, unlike incomplete passes (unless you take it outside of the field in case of incomplete pass, the game clock goes on). Now, since it was a spike and we still were on 3rd down, we could've attempted another field goal as a fourth (and final) down play. The spiker didn't realize it or couldn't think of it at the last minute. Its not normal to kick a field goal on 3rd down, so it was not a practiced play either. About the kicker, well he did miss the 2nd last field goal attempt didn't he? 42 nd yard, remember, the snapper did manage to snap it well even though he trembled initially, but the Kicker kicked way left. I agree with you Vision, Giants lacked descipline. It is almost childish, ridiculous to fight at such a crucial time. They put their individual self ahead of the team. It takes a lot to win and they didn't had it all.

DWI, In case you haven't noticed, I am NOT a Pat's fan. I was happy as heck when they couldn't make it to the Playoffs. I still stick by my ealier prediction though: Raiders and Eagles in Superbowl. I guess that means Jets lose next weekend against Raiders. But, that will be one tough game for Raiders though. Jets do have a good defence. Raiders over Jets: 27 -24. B_D.

Vision, The fat dude was flagged ineligible because he was a special team guard and you cannot be in the position to receive the ball. There were only few guys he could throw the ball to and the guard wasn't one of them. There was an interference call but was voided because of the ineligible receiver. Guess what Vision, it turns out the Giants couldn't have spiked the ball after all. According to the NFL officials, he could have only spiked the ball if he had taken the ball from under the center. Since the snap was a long snap, the only option he was left with was to pass it to an eligible receiver. He couldn't hold it because one of the 49ers defense man was coming in diving if you recall. 49ers scored 39ers, isn't it ironic?

Jets are a better offense team than defence team. There is a new statement by the NFL. The last call in 49ers vs Giants game was wrong. The two penalties should have offset each other and since the game cannot end in the offsets, Giants should've given one more chance for the kick. Ughhh...Too much of technicalities make NFL ugly. C'mon, don't make rules that even your referees have hard time recalling. NFL is a model version of US Legislative system. Too many laws make as many loopholes. Final thing is Giants should've won the game and it never should have come down to one last field goal.

Oakland is simply just too good this year. I'm concerned about our special teams. They have been atrocious in kick returns by the opposing teams and jets are murder in that category. Ouch... Giants fans! Ouch. I skipped the 4th quarter thinking the game was over. Man, a lot happened I guess. I feel bad that the refs did not make the right call, but it should have never come to that. They had way too much of a lead for the game to have come to a ref call at the end. If it is any consolation, 49ers aren't going anywhere either. B_D.

I have a hard time believing any of the remaining NFC teams can win at the Vet barring a very turnover-prone game by the top-seeded Eagles. Atlanta - They beat a depleted Packers team at Lambeau. Out-of-form Favre helped them with 2 interceptions and 1 fumble. Vick can run, but he'll have to throw better than 13-25 for 117 yards to beat the Eagles, especially if the Falcons fall behind. Philly's defense will dictate the game, just like the Bucs did twice against the Falcons. Vick will have to pass better to win this game, but I don't see that happening against Philly's vaunted secondary. Tampa Bay - Their team is supposedly better this year, but hasn't that been mentioned every time they've played the Eagles? They've been clobbered every time they've come to the Vet, including this season. They may have the best defense overall, but they always look inferior when they play the Eagles. Its a simple case of matchups - Philly's defense contains Tampa's offense much better than Tampa's D vs. Philly's O. San Francisco - This team has the best chance to do some damage against Philly's defense because they have Terrell Owens, who does well against any secondary in the league. Their defense is suspect though, and if they give up 30+ points like they did last week, they have no shot. Philly's defense gives up less than 16 points per game and have given up 30+ points just once in the last 2-3 years. By the way, they routed the 49ers 38-17 with 2 backup quarterbacks in the regular season IN San Francisco. The biggest question is whether McNabb is 100% healthy, but I believe he is. The media hypes up Vick as if he was the first running quarterback they've ever seen. Before Vick, there was McNabb and they both had the same number of rushing yards when he got hurt. Vick is quicker, but McNabb is as elusive, stronger and more experienced. The Eagles are my pick to win the NFC. They've already proven that they can beat Tampa Bay & San Francisco this season and I don't think the Falcons are as good as the Eagles, yet. I favor the Jets to come out of the AFC, if they play defense like they have done the last 2 games. They're the hottest team in the league right now. Ardent Football Fan

Raider Nations, here come the High Flying Jets...Modeling last years Patriots, a team out of no where, hitting a hot streak late in the season, shockingly winning the AFC East, and a 41 point drubbing of a talented Colts squad. The incentive of having a Top record in your conference in the NFL is that BYE week...where teams can rest and have a shorter path to the superbowl. 3 of the last two teams that won the superbowl did not have the best record in their conference...two of those three were wild cards...denver and Baltimore...Granted the raiders will do better with a much needed rest for an aging club, I think the Jets if they can keep up the momentum they have going can pull this one off...I am still not convinced that the Raider secondary is healthy..especially at the corner position..If pennington can get protection with one on one matchups on the outside..the Jets speedy receiving corps, easily have an upper hand...if Raider blitzes can be held consistently, Jets will rip the raider secondary, and if martin is a little effective running inside, that opens up the playaction for pennington...But nonetheless the Jets have an unenviable task of stopping the number one offense in the league this year in the Raiders...that is a lot to ask from the underdogs, but what more motivation can they get than the blanking of peyton and marvin? They need to stop the raider short passing game, get pressure from the front four to gannon, and they have to tackle well...stop CHARLIE GARNER!!! They cannot allow extra yards after the catch, or it will be catch up all the way for them...I think Herman has this club believing, and if they keep the tunrovers low, and play their game, which I think they will..this smells like an upset...betters take the over...jets 28..raiders...24

Their offense sucks, something like 24th in the league. Our defense is ranked 11th. We’re playing better on both sides of the ball. Special teams are one aspect of our game I fear the most. By and large I’d say our offense will score on their defense and our defense will impede their offense. RAIDERS 27 BUCS 17 One Nation RaiderNation!!!
