San ji, I was surprised to see my name as Sajha Person of the Year 2002 this morning. Thanks for giving me this award but as Sitara ji mentions above you deserve this award first. My vote goes to San Pradhan for providing us a common platform to promote our community events, share news, views and ideas.. I will continue to play my part in making Sajha.com more interesting and informative place to visit in the coming years! San you are the 'Sajha Person of the Year'!!! You are the mastermind of Sajha! You the creator and you the Sanghar Karta, I Sashtanga Dandavat you. You cheater, you flatterer, your admirer, I salute your your creativity. I really admire your ideas. You definitely deserve the title - 'Person of the year' BTW: For a while I was aso taken aghast by your 'Person of the Year' award. You made everybody feel good about themselves by looking at their name being in the 'Person of the year' Sajha announcement. UNTIL my LOGIC started working again! I like making everyone feeling that they are the Sajha Person of the year. Wow!!! It is like watching a picture, and looks like the person in the picture is staring at YOU only. Ha ha ha!!!! Much respect to the man and his works to promote the Nepalese community far and wide, I cannot disagree that he should be awarded with the Person of the year. Infact, I don't think its enough for his praises. He should have been awarded that when he first introduced Sajha.com to the Nepalese community in United States and around the world, 3-4 years back or more then that less than that, not sure. The man is always there in the heart and he will be the Sajha Person of the year as long as this site exists and I am sure with everybody's regards, it will remain forever. So now why not choose someone else for this and years to come? Maybe introduce some kind of poll and not make it a mess like we did before. I know its not a serious award ceremony or something like that. I understand that totally. With much due respect to San, my Sajha person of the Year 2002, goes to SItara. For her promisingly new articles everytime. For her participation in Sajha threads. For her nature of binding all Nepalese together whenver there is any kind of miunderstanding. For her best use of the word 'Hajur', which is now widely used by many Sajhaites. Not to take anything away from any of the posters here, in my opinion, Sitara has made this site a colourful one with her timely articles, beautiful poetries and sensitive postings. That ticket is for our Pujari jyu, and it says, it provides the VVIP treatmeant in the Night Bus, But the ticket should be used by Jan 5th. I wonder if our PP jyu is going to wake up by then, afterall he is the one who’s gonna accept everything that comes for freee…. (bhalai $2000 plus ko ticket kaatera Nepal jaana kina naparosh!!!!) Please Help!!! |

Happy New Year 2003 to Everyone! The sajha person 2002 took off pretty well I think. When people started nominating others for the Sajha Person 2002 title, the first thing that came to my mind was that EVERY Sajha visitor deserves that award. To that end, I put couple of minutes of work, and lo and behold!- everyone was given the award. With this award, which has been dubbed as 'a prank' which it wasn't but yes it did seem like one, I hope to reiterate that sajha.com exists because of visitors like yourself, and everyone of you are responsible for the sajha entity, hence all of you deserve this 'virtual' award. Unfortunately I cannont accept the sajha person award, since any member of the administration team is not eligible for nominations. But I would like to thank you for considering me, it means a lot. Sajha is here to cater to you the visitors, I wish to remain in the background and ensure that sajha is here to entertain and educate one and all who happen to browse to www.sajha.com from near and far.
