WHAT A SHAME! Nepal lose to Bangladesh KOL Report KATHMANDU, Jan 11 – Nepal has lost its opening match to Bangladesh by a solitary goal in the 3rd South Asian Football Federation (SAFF) Championship in the Bangladeshi capital Dhaka Saturday evening. Bangladesh scored the only goal of the game in the 31st minute through Alfaz. Although Nepal tried to pull a goal back, they were denied by solid Bangladeshi defence and good goalkeeping. Bhutan and Maldives are the other two teams in the group and Nepal still has a good chance of qualifying for the second round. Today’s match was Nepal 100th international game. (rk)
