It has come to light that the new king cannot be crowned until one year after the last king is dead. Given the condition of His Majesty that event could not take place until June or July 2002. There is a lot of time for various interests to push their agenda (royalty or presidency) or whatever system is invented. You may have already known this, forgive me, this is the first such transition I have seen in my young life. I did not know they have to wait one year to have the coronation.
