Polarizations In Nepali Politics

(1) King G stages a show in Girija's hometown which Girija labels a Panchayate gesture.
(2) King G gets PM Chand to send him an ordinance. Now on the King and not the parliament will decide whether the King's salary and that of his family can be raised, as well other "durbare" expenses.
(3) KP Oli is for a republic. Close to half of NC central committee is said to be in favor of a constituent assembly and a possible republic.
(4) The NC and the UML have decided to launch a "movement."
(5) The Maoists are as relentless as ever in their random acts of violence.

Where do you see things going? What next? Will the Chand government stay on for a year or two by default?
