An Indun Poet	Posted on 13-Jan-03 09:20 AM Some of my friends started this webshop (www.taremam.com) which got me thinking-- wonder why they chose the word taremam. Is taremam a Newari or a Sanskrit or Hindi word? Anyone know. To my acknoledgement Taremam is not really a good word to use, but my friends (who is a high caste brahmin-- brahmin of the brahmins) insisted "taremam" is a good word which means 'hello' with hand-action similar that of a salute. Taremam also sometimes might also mean 'kick the bucket' in colloquial terms. Anyway it was interesting to see taremam.com launched as shopping site with such kind of a name. Adeu

And them said yes it is good word and good thing for you to do salute to them. But them neva told I that it is only good fo I to do them salute to them.
