Biruwa	Posted on 18-Jan-03 08:20 PM Amir Khan has severed ties with his wife of seventeen year. His Hindu wife, Reena will now live separately with their two children aged 7 and 4. This development has cast a long shadow of doubt over Amir Khan's seemingly grand nobel image. Amir khan has lately been seen with such heroines as Preeti Zinta and such other new and young faces. How many other inter-faith marriages have had such a fatal fate? We barely know. No statistics exist to show us the factual data. While divorces are taken as a normal part of daily life in western societies, in Eastern cultures marriage is still regarded and beholden in a sacred light. However religious factions such as muslims still regards convertion be it from marriage or through any other means a good deed a true faithful does to invoke sympathy from his/her particular God. Could Amir's action of marriage and the subsequent devortion be such a cruel game played out in the indian climate? This looks unlikely due to the fact that they were indeed married for 17 years since 1986. But then again may be Amir was just fed up of trying to fully converting the Hindu damsel Rena. The worst tragedy is ofcourse that of the two kids who now have two separate homes and may have multiple separate families to deal with as they grow up. Emotionally they will feel insecure and psychologically also they will definitely suffer. Apart from that this gives a bad presidence to other men who will immulate the hero of bollyhood. We have to admit that bollywood has a large impact on the psychotic minds of Nepali population who will be impacted in rather inconscious ways. Biruwa-the Plant.

Salman Khan bhanera Amir khaan ko Guff dine? >>may be Amir was just fed up of trying to fully converting the Hindu damsel Rena. May be his wife was a suspicious character, who believed whatever she read in those gossip magazines. May be it had nothing to do with the religion. May be she wanted to break free from all the attentions that her husband got, or maybe she wanted all the attention. There are too many may be’s to consider ni. As far as I know, after staying home, doing nothing (??) for almost 13 years, she became an Executive Producer (??) or something to do with the production department of the Movie Lagaan -- which she took over famously. Could it be that, she was nagging her husband that she wanted to work and do something on her own? Could it be that she got the confidence that she can be independent? I don’t know, I don’t care, but I just think, the reason COULD not be Religious. Raam jaane!! (na ta mera bau ne jaane, na ta uska bau ne jaane)
