well what now?
Gyanendra is the king and PARAS is the crown prince! we all know the satanic, psychotic behavior of PARAS. what does this mean to our identity? are we ready to be ruled and lead by such bizarre characters? I dont know much about Gyanendra. SO I cant say if he will be revered as the incarnation of Lord Vishnu like his brother beloved Late King Birendra. But one thing so damn obvious is that PARAS is the SHAITAN in reincarnation!!
SO the point is, is there a need for a monarchy anymore? the monarchy that hides facts from the citizens? are we so dumb to believe that the gun went off by itself killing select members of the royal family? what does this monarchy think we are, some brainless wacks or what?

the new king has already set the first impression and it aint any good. He took us for less than citizens, we definitely wont accept him as king!

As for the FIEND PARAS, he should have been the one killed!
but as the world goes, the good ones are the ones to go first!

may our king's soul and his families' rest in peace!

The only supporters of Paras I have encountered in and out of Nepal so far have been some of his friends from his high
school days.

Apparently, these are the friends (from outside of Kathmandu)
to whom Paras -- with money and influence, a house in Kathmandu and an occasional dose of kindness -- have apparently been
BOTH a banevolent God and a beloved friend.

Paras's this kind/generous/banevolent side may well be true in private to some of these friends, just as his monster side is
all the more true/demonstrated/proven as far as the PUBLIC
at large is concerned.

It is this proven PUBLIC image of Paras that makes Paras an unacceptable anything to most sensible Nepalis.

Anyway, having had the opportunity to talk to with some of these friends of Paras on and off over the last several years, my own conclusion is that:

These supporters constitute a small group of Paras ko die-hard friends -- basically uncritical boys mostly from the Village Nepal who seem, thanks to their school, just too thrilled/excited to be so close to a member of the Royal Family (meaning: Paras) and remain therefore blindingly grateful and loyal to Paras no matter what.

Still, their loyalty for their Saviour friend may be admirable
in private to some. But their judgment of him as a potential
and real PUBLIC leader is terribly, terribly flawed and misguided.

Paras Shah has gotten away with too many murders even when King
Birendra and Family were alive. With power in his hands as the Crown Prince, this guy is likely to be an unstoppably blood-thirsty monster.

Getting away with murders has been bequethed to Paras from his father and uncles. Did we forget the kanda of Namita and Sunita where they were raped and thrown into the Fewatal? Why didn't our raja insist to put Paras in a rehabilitation center? Even sons of bau who hold prestigious post in Nepal's gov get away with murders. I think it is time to change the shape of our gov. We need to add laws.

The Namita and Sunita murder case happened during the
dark days of autocratic Panchayat, though that in itself
does not make that crime any less excusable.

But Paras has been getting away with hit-and-run murder cases
and physical abuse of Nepali citizens since the mid-'90s.

(Some of Paras's school friends remain, of course, loyal to
him, nursing dreams, no doubt, that they would be
appointed -- ahem! -- his advisers and what not!)

That Gyanendra was unable to discipline his son before
does not signal that he would start doing any of that
now, especially now that he is the King.

I have a feeling that casuality of all these happenings
would be: Nepal's democracy.

Girija and the netas have made enough money in the
last ten years to run to and live happily anywhere
in the world just like Sarad Chandra Shah did and does
in the sunny island of Guam.

It's the Nepali janata who now have to fend for themselves:
Against the extremities of the Maoists from the left and the Royalists from the right.

Who knows, most of us may soon be just that: immigrants
everywhere.
