In my office,there is a place filled with black ice and some of the people slipped in that.Since i've studied science(but biology k garnu?),my boss asks me to give suggestions to get rid of that black ice or to take some precautions so that people won't slip.I tried sodium chloride (salt) but didn't work out.So,can u guys give me suggestions so that I will get rid of tha tblack ice.Please don't tell me to remove that as it is imposible.Any suggetions would be welcome and I'd be greatful!Don't discourage me.Thanks!

black ice? i think ,ice can be always white. i have never seen that. could u please post the picture of black ice.

Let me see...You need to prepare 2HSO4-. Here are the equations:
MnSO4 + 2AgNO3 =====>Mn(NO3)2 + Ag2SO4 (ppt)
Mn2+ + S2O8- + O2 + 2H+ =====> MnO2 + 2HSO4-
I know that S2O8- in acidic solution is a powerful oxidant, and can oxidize Manganese (oxidation number 2 to 4, in MnO2 or 7 in MnoO4-). Aba tyo HSO4- utpaadan bhaye pachhi yesto garnus:
Dissolve a mixture of iodine and HSO4- in chloroform and then in the solution the same amount of KI solution. After shaking, two layers will be formed. The upper layer will be yellow, which when choloroform is added, turns pink. Tyo pink part ma Na2S2O3 add garepachi decolourise hunchha. If u add H2O2(aq) you will see brown colour. If you mix that brown coloured substance with acidified KI, you will get some iodine ppt. Tehi ppt ko kasam malaai black ice dissolve garne tarikaa thaahaa chhaina.

Black Ice is freakin' painful, but its almost invisible or transparent.
1. Lie to your boss, tell him he is lying, there is no such thing as black ice... Use the logic of akelisumijyu, "Ice can always be white, not black", tell him, "Have you gone mad?".
2. Ask for the Job-Description, :D UNLESS you are a Janitor. Maybe you are not supposed to clean the black ice. Check the job-description.
3. Buy the welding stove (tyo aago aaucha ni hurruuuurrrra), heat the black Ice. Tyo stove le ni pagliyena bhaneta tyo black ice lai manchu.
4. Hey, you can threaten your boss. Think about it. Everytime he yells at you, you threaten him that you will slip on that black ice and sue the hell out of him. :D
5. Use an axe, break the hell out of that black ice.
6. (khusukka>>> kossaile nasunne gari>>>pee on the black ice:D)
7. Ek dikchi taato paani tataune ani khanaaune.
8. Pro'ly Antifreezer will help.
9. Buy the carpet on your office's expense, and place it right over the black ice.

Come on! What's the big deal about black ice? Its' winter ...you slip and slide ..your cars collide...fun fun fun. Enjoy while it lasts.

WHen I told my boss that I'm not a cleaner and if he again asks me to get rid of that black ice then I would slip on that and sue him.He laughed and kept quiet!
May be it's working!
But I wish I could impress him!Tyati mehinet nagari !But who cares!I was not hired to clean that!

what exacrly is a black ice???
I have never heard of that?? can you give its composition and how it is there??? ka ba kasari aayo?? Bhagwan le mathi bata pathunu bhayena hola ni, ki kaso..??
PP some of your solutions show that you are experienced in all these...ke ho ha??
