Could someone kindly tell me that in the photo section "Surya presents images of Nepal" St. Mary's school is added as one of the major highlights of Nepal? What is so special about that school anyways?

Foreigners who want to visit Nepal would most probably want to research about Nepal's hotspots as much as possible. Without a shadow of a doubt, St. Mary's School is a very important site for foreigners to visit, for where else in nefarious locations known for red light districts can you find such beehive of activities of buxome lolitas ready to spread their legs wide open for a quickie?? Indeed, I would recommend it to any serious tourist, looking for a casual night of love.

Hey, where ARE the pictures by the way? I have been looking for them! Was thinking I'd email San to ask whether it was still online. so, "What is speacial about SMS?" The more appropirate question might be, "what is special about ANY of the pictures I posted?" And the answer is, "Nothing." That is nothing other than that the fact that **I** thought they were special and that some of the folks might enjoy them. It is intersting to me that Nirmala ji did not raise this question when the pictures where first put up. I wonder why? And why now? When the pictures aren't even available easily. Now if this thread was started to slam St. Mary's and its alumna, whatever! I don't give a rats ass! I have heard enough gorwing up from average guys like the one above and jealous little runts who used every little trick in the book to insinulate nasty crap about the school and its students. These attempts simply solidify in my mind, the depravity, pettiness and stupidity of the people who engage in such behavior. I have had lots of friends and colleagues from many differnt schools from not just Nepal, but all over the country. People do have misconceptions about the "only girls catholic convent in the country". But most sane and normal people move beyond innuendo, lurid stereotypes and whatever moronic idea they might have about the school and its students to deal with people are people. St. Mary's to me to special because that's where I, many of my friends, realtives went and still go to school. It is no big deal to be if YOU don't think its a BIG DEAL. Have you heard of school pride, school spirit and other stuff like that? If not, bichara, you really are missing out!

Now is that something that could be said of all females? or is there a speacial category set aside for SMS girls? It seems to be SMS and its studetns loom larger in the minds of non-SMS girls and boys than those went to school there. And please pray tell what kind of "deserves" a man anyhow? And what kidn of guirls deserves a "bad" man? What about men? what kind os men deserve "good" women? and women from particular schools? . . . . ?

People from Xaviers and Marys have some kind of superiority complex. They only like to hang out with their own kind. In doing so they lose the diversity of ideas and getting to know different personalities. I wonder why they become like that.

kasai ko superiority complex kasai ko infiriority! Besides, doesn't who one fraternizes with depend on who you have access to? How are people from one school going to really get to know people from other schools? it's not like girls have all the social mobility to go out and seek out friends outside of school and family? Nowadays things are very different. There is a thriving youth culture that young people froma ll social back grounds might meet somewhere and become friends. You are ALWAYS going to have affinity to people who have share your experiences, who understand the lingo, who come from similar back grounds. Now why do Nepali peope hang out with other Nepali people? aren't they missing out on diversity? Why sajha? Regardless, having some affinity to someone does NOT mean you DON'T hang out with others or that you can have a great relationship with them. Me thinks, people have a burr under their saddle in the first place anyhow about SMS and SXS. Kya non issue lai importance di ra bhanya! Alchi lagdo! And what the hell am I doing responding? Who knows?! Whatever!

JB-jee and Ruck-jee, Yes, some may have that superiority complex, but others may not. SAME CAN BE SAID OF MANY OTHER SCHOOLS! If I were you, I would refrain from stereotyping. As for me, I have far more friends who didn't attend either STX or SMS than who did; and I would feel extremely offended if any of those friends ever alleged me of having a superiority complex just because I went to STX. Sometimes, I think it's the inferiority complex that some have that makes them wrongly accuse the alleged "superiority" complex of others of creating problems. Open your minds as wide as you can, and rid yourself of complexes, superior or inferior alike. Please stop imagining problems when there may be none. As for the above comments, let me say it one more time: I WOULD HAVE SAID THE SAME THING TO "average_guy" HAD HE HAD MADE THOSE OBNOXIOUS COMMENTS ABOUT ANY WOMEN OF ANY SCHOOL. SMS JUST HAPPEND TO BE SUBJECT OF THE THREAD, HENCE MY EXAMPLE WAS LIMITED TO SMS.

All of you bush snipes : Zip it. Don’t even go there about ‘mero iskool tero iskool.’ Absolutely juvenile. If cabin fever is getting to you, take up knitting or crochet. Take a hike. If you're capable of it, look to find common ground, values and joys we all share. Don't nit pick. Surya, I take both of these quotes from your postings: “Sitara: kina "recall"? present day sajha ma nai dhekhirachu maile ta! ;) “ “plus hamro brother iskool ko ketas pani ta kam ka thiyenan!” Care to elaborate ? If not, one might take them as fighting words.

What is there to elaborate, Czar? don't they speak for themselves? if not, la suna... ma bhanchu. Sitara said, "Dare I recall, some charming fellas.... swooning and drooling around SMS belles????" I in turn said, "kina "recall"? present day sajha ma nai dhekhirachu maile ta! ;)" So, what I meant was I see people swooning over SMS belles here on Sajha... case in point - Sitara:) And before anyone jumps on me... I don't mean there are no other swooning going on over other ladies from other iskools! and see the winkyface that follows my sentence?!! the winkyface means "said in jest"! :) (smiley face) Secondly, I said “plus hamro brother iskool ko ketas pani ta kam ka thiyenan!” When taken out of context... they might sound like fighting words, but if you read the whole thing I said: "tyo titaura pasal was to die for!! plus hamro brother iskool ko ketas pani ta kam ka thiyenan!" Ahem! does that sound like fight words! I don't think so.:) But hey, if it's a fight you want I say, bring it onnnnnnnnnnnnnn broda!! :) Like Whine and Chij said in that thread about closed discoes... "everybody was kung fu fighting. those kath's were fast as lightning. in fact, it was a little bit frightening. but they fought with expert timing." :)

Lol@jealous@Sain't Mary's. My cousin went there; they turned her into a looney. Not just that, when I was about 16 yrs or so, she loved telling me dirty jokes about balls and testicles. Truthfully speaking, lascivious behavior don't really attract me. Gals who went to that school are usually horny. God knows why. I guess it's because of ZERO contact with guys. Better to go to a co-ed school and learn about, and be in contact with the opposite sex .

Average guy, I will grant you that in the Nepali context a dirty joke telling cousin sister is not easy to accept. Fair enough. Perhaps it may have had something to do with your cousin sister’s frame of mind as a teenager then. Why attribute it to her attending St. Mary’s? If so, then attending a convent school automatically turns normally straight-laced girls into raving nymphomaniacs. Would you have the data to support your contention? If so, we would nominate your research to the Lancet or the New England Medical Journal. If not, then then it sounds like the lurid stories that grace the pages of rag sheets clutched firmly by grocery toting wags at the supermarket checkout counter. The sheets that run stories of Martians that abducted Elvis and demanded a ransom of Britney.

Hmm? Guess I left an irrelevent info out of my message. Telling dirty jokes to a 16 yr old (a minor by American context) by a 27 yr old isn't accepted in any society whatsoever. It's the mentality of the community that matters as a whole. American divorce rate is 50%, but can you attribute that to only an individual? No, I don't think so. The type of people you associate with matters a lot.

One raunchy joke-telling convent-educated cousin doesn’t constitute compelling evidence. Clearly, it was a disturbing experience for you. Assigning blame to her school may serve to assuage your anger. Yet, its hardly makes the case for a blanket condemnation of the morals, or lack thereof, of girls who attended St. Mary’s. I know many intelligent, articulate, capable women who studied there. I have great admiration for them. They are outspoken and confident, but that hardly translates into them being harlots. Why is it convenient to label frank women as tarts? How unjust and biased. Some people are too insecure to deal with the feminity of a confident women. I'll take em, anyday.

Well, if you really want to know, I didn't mean squat with my rather provocative message, for why would I, when my mom too graduated from St. Mary's? Some people just love to throw gibes at others, that's all. Hopefully some people caught up to what I was trying to accomplish.
