One day on the backyard of my apartment, I saw a fella practicing golf swing. I laughed at him for there was no ball, only his medicus club (I knew the club because of the advertisement I had seen on TV, but I thought it wasn't real, I mean comon a person who doesn't know how to swing could make a perfect golf swing in only 15 minutes, thats too good to be true). Everytime he swung the club, it broke down and then he tried again and again for some time. I watched him and giggled at the same time, laughing at what a stupid thing he was doing. He went swinging and swinging and it broke down everytime he did that. After about 20 minutes, all of a sudden the golf club stopped breaking down and now he was doing some perfect golf swing. I was surprised, the club which broke, ultimately wasn't breaking at all and the swing he did was now becoming more a reality. The next day, I assume he would go to the golf club to play. Wow!! what a magnificent tool, another beautiful discovery from man for a beautiful game. Golf is one of the game I admire very much. The magnificent scenery that surrounds the Fairways Gold Club near my apartment beautifies the game more and the sound breeze that blows in the green fairways surrounded by some very difficult bunkers and near it has a pond which makes it even more difficult for the yardage. The par 5 13th is what I refer to and my favorite hole in the golf club. The last time I played, I hit my T-shot about 260-265 yards. I was left with 230 with bunkers on the right and pond on the left of the green. It was a dog-leg left and very much tempted me to go for the green in two. I took out my 3 iron and I knew the breeze was helping me, so decided to go for it. I knew I also had to curve it a little to the left to avoid the bunkers but if it went further left, I would go into waters. The flag was on the front of the green so I also knew that if I went a little back, it would be safe for me. I needed to hit 240 yards. I went right head took out the 2 iron and put the 3 iron back to its place. When I swung that swing, it was looking very promising. It curved a litle left, just what I wanted and when it feel down in the green I was left with a 20 ft. put for the eagle. That was one of my best shot in the most difficult hole in the club. I two putted that for a birdie but I was very happy with reaching the green in two when most of the players were laying up for a 100-120 yards third shot. I was positive and I had nothing to lose. That day I hit 12 greens in regulations, which was my best performance ever and I shot 83, my personal best. The club record happens to be even par 72. So I was no where near it but hey I started playing about a year back, I am nearing the target, unless some Tiger Woods or Ernie Els, comes to shoot 65, I have nothing to say.
